Jeepers Pia went to town with her pitch. Congrats to her.

What a series it was.

Can't wait for the US one next week.

Also have seen a GoFundMe setup by someone for Luke and his family, up to $412K after like a day or two.
He was on the Project last night.. was extremely grateful and said he would only take a 'little bit' of that money to the Casino.... haha

Bit of a let down final tribal, as soon as Baden won the last challenge whoever he chose to take with him was always going to win.

I was surprised he took Pia; as Pia was always going to have the vote of Janine and the majority of the champions, to me it would have made more sense to take fellow contender Harry and therefore have the champion votes up in the air so to speak. Plus Pia was always going to be able to articulate herself much better with all of her PR and promoting herself in here career and thus smash him in the final tribal verbal convincing stake. I can only assume that Baden was thinking his best chance to to go against a champion, hope the Contenders voted along tribal allegiances, and then hope there would be one or two disgruntled champions voting out of spite against Pia for burning them.

Rapt that Luke's GoFund me page has been a success; essentially sets his family up for life.

I’m no expert, but I’m pretty sure the money Luke gets from the GoFundMe page will be heavily taxed by the tax department. The limit on tax-free “gifts” is about $10,000 I believe.

Rumours on the socials that this is the cast for the Australian all stars season next year. Got about 13 on my wishlist here so I'm ok with it.
Not sure what makes some of those players fit the bill, some of them would have no claim to fame! They’ve got most of the good ones in there though.

Andy would be filthy missing that cut.

Might do a small write up on each of them if I got time over the weekend.

Keeping the Survivor theme going, that was a good first vote out, he seemed like a bit of a scumbag.

Didn't think the Island of Idols concept would be good, but so far it seems it may have some promise.

Not the worst first episode ever.

Definitely not a boring first episode. Blindside in the very frist episode was great. If it was the Australian version Vince/Elaine probabaly would have gone first. Happy they're both in still. I'm still a bit iffy with Island of the Idols but I'll wait til I see more before I slam/praise it. ?

Another good episode. That makes it two blindsides in the first two episodes.

Finding Survivor a bit boring this season. Still watching, but finding it's all just making "big moves" for a players "resume" now, and not as interesting. Hopefully it is not like that again in the winners season, if it is I'll probably abandon the US seasons until they change it up.

Just watched the first episode of The Amazing Race Australia, good to see the AFL boys win the first leg (Tom Wilkinson who was on the Kangas list this year and Tyler Roos, Paul's son). Looks like they had a big focus on getting a diverse cast, rather than casting the best possible teams, I still found it enjoyable enough. That last placed team really fell behind - never seen a team get that far behind before in one episode.

This doesn't quantify as a spoiler. You should post in the non spoiler thread.
Fair point, happy for you to move it. I was going to post some of the people on this season and a bit of discussion but got caught up in something else.

Fire making challenges suck. You would think you would practice making fires if going on the show. Burning the bags was a good idea though.
