Sorry for the numerous PDC related posts above, but it’s a prime opportunity to remind the site’s darts fans about the upcoming world championship as well as hopefully attracting and enticing new fans to the spectacle.
The tournament runs from the 14th of December to the 2nd of January with 96 players involved and prize money of £2.5 million.
4 Australians involved- Simon Whitlock (Sun Dec 22), Damon Heta (Wed Dec 18), Robbie King (Wed Dec 18) and Kyle Anderson (Mon Dec 16).
Will be broadcast on Kayo and Fox Sports at 6:00 am to 10:00 am for the evening sessions and 11:30pm to 3:30 am for the afternoon sessions.

2 Aussies recently completely their matches today in the PDC World Championship.
Tough matchup for Heta against Glen Durrant- the 3 time BDO World Champion (2017,2018,2019) and semi finalist in the 2019 PDC World Matchplay, Grand Prix and Grand Slam.
Heta and Whitlock both featuring this Saturday night/Sunday morning Aus time.

Was the only match I caught the majority of this morning and was the pick of the lot from today’s action.
Superb power scoring exhibited by Sherrock with 6 180’s hit as well as managing a checkout rate of approximately 41% with 2 100+ checkouts. Composed under pressure after missing several set darts if I remember correctly in Set 3 or Set 4.
Very intriguing matchup against “Gentle” Mensur this weekend.
Also if you get the chance the other match involving a female participant came down to a sudden death leg with Suzuki narrowly missing out on victory after performing wonderfully against J Richardson.
