New to the site and loving all the hard work being put in! Have 1 trade left (Rauf) to either Morris , Siddle , Cartwright or NCN? Thoughts ?
That’s the team mate! Have 1 trade left and 7k in the bank, Rauf BE 107 and likely to be rested
Nice team that. If Rauf is out, i think i'd just go NCN otherwise if you wanted to be really creative/brave/silly, i'd go Cartwright who has a breakeven of -80 and set to skyrocket. It gives you some Curran money for next round which i think you could use (who wouldn't?) but it does not come without risk picking a pure batsman over an NCN who potentially gets two bites at the cherry.

Thanks for the welcome, seems a really nice friendly forum. Sorry I didn't reply sooner i was in too much of a panic watching radars and re-hacking my strategy over Rauf. I'm only a relative newbie to supercoach, love my cricket but its first time doing BBL and not used to the rapid fire of lockouts, somehow i'm in the top 40 which is luck, but will drop alot after this round I fear.

Yes, we're a very friendly bunch here (y)

Congrats on the great rank. Feel free to join our group (code 213542) to see how you compare to the rest of the site...although i'd assume with that rank you'd be in the top 5 coaches haha

I agree, that there is an awful lot to monitor with this comp. It's almost like a full time job!

I'm dropping day by day now on our group rank thanks to you and your 'not so obvious' marketing ploy...;):D

Don't take that personally @Sideshow Bob as @IDIG loves a banter.(y)

A belated welcome to you, I had prepared to roll out the 'red' carpet for a Top 40 coach but @IDIG has already done the honours. I'm confident that you'll enjoy your time here and who knows, maybe you can teach us coaches here a lesson or two.

I've got the same problem as @Sideshow Bob joined the group, but can't see it anywhere, is there something or somewhere that I need to look? Sorry, bit dumb with all this stuff.
If you go to your Leagues area when you log-in. Along the top there will be a drop down list that you can select the League you wish to view.

Next to the League there should be a Groups selection that when clicked you can pick the Group you wish to look at.

Hope this helps

Patterson now (RD10) , Lynn next round(RD11) ?

Edit: or other way round?
I think I put this question in the wrong thread. So I'll pop it here.

If you are playing the B/E game and you want both has to be Pattison first.

Give Lynn's price more time to come down and vice-versa with Pattinson's price.

Go to your ‘leagues’ page then select ‘groups’ where you have option of leagues, groups or rivalries.

Two alternatives floating around my head...

Option 1: Lami/Fawad/Inglis to ABD/Henriques/Pope
Option 2: Two of the above plus S Marsh to ABD/Curran/FD (in the latter case, I need to remove Marsh to have 11 players)

That gives me four of THCLT's list in option 2 (Qais, Rashid, Head, ABD) plus Marsh for option 1, and 2/3 Sixers (Philippe being the other).

The more I look at them now I've written them down the more I favour the first, I'm just worried about Curran going berserk and missing out on it...

For those looking to prune back their Sixers for the round with a view of setting up a more balanced team for the DDGRs, the most important thing when deciding on which Sixers is to ask: Which one would you be happy to take straight out as your Captain if you didn't have a VC loop...?

With Abbott no longer in the frame, I think that the answer to that question would be one Tom Curran.

So if you're planning on 1, 2, 3 or more...Curran needs to be part of your plan unless you're incline to taking risks.

As soon as I joined the group the option of groups dissappeared, if I select leagues it now only shows leagues and rivalries, no groups! Have logged in / out, deleted the app (iOS) and even tried on PC still no groups, same happened to me last year in footy. I gotta be missing something major?????

Down to 3 DGR's for round 13 with Laughlin in a moon boot now, I'll likely lose him for another Heat player but I can now plan for 6 DGR's in 13 or 7 + 7
Don't know how you coaches have the time to plan for all this, but it's doing my head in.
Or the more and more you think about it and plan and prepare , the more your thoughts get clouded and confusion sets in ?
