Thanks guys. I wasn't keen to take the lower of anyone + Short's score, seeing Short has scored less than 20 7/9 times but i did realise i'd get a free look at Short's score so in the event of a miracle where he did post something decent, i would be able to bench Morris to avoid any repeat of what happened tonight.
As it turns out, i wasted my VC on Phillipe on the off chance he went bonkers in a short game so will need to plonk the C on someone anyway

I now have a ‘free transfer’. Plan was to trade Dwarshuis in this week, out next and make a little cash. Haven’t done that.
Have Neser, Cutting, Qais, Mujeeb and DC for the round 12/13 doubles. Getting ABD tomorrow. Plans to get Khan, Wade, Short and 2/3 (probably 2) of Carey/Head/Weatherald prior to 12.
1 trade leftover for this round.
After a one week punt (maybe 2) that should go up in price. Under 210k. Trading out Livingstone (gotta go).
Thought about going straight to Head but may prevent me from getting Khan next week which is a priority.
Any suggestions? Lamichhane top of my list at the moment.

I don't think my team has been weakened, Shoosh and Curran may well lose a fair bit of cash this round plus I added Pattinson with ABdV and Cutting who are probably all I want for their DGR, I think those 3 are better than Nair, Laughlin and Livingstone for round 11.
Round 11 trades will revolve around getting Curran back (maybe) plus a Striker and a Canes player, with Carey and Short added the week after. Those trades will give me 8 DGR's for round 12 with a spare trade. I already have my preferred 3 Heat players and none of the Gades but I'll have 4 trades up my sleeve for adjustments in round 13. Not even sure I want Gades players apart from Richo, but I think I'll have the opportunity of having 7 DGR players in round 13, 8 if I pass on Curran

I can actually, and have definitely considered it.
Break evens had me going ABD first but I could switch it up. I was planning be’s with the hope of holding both Curran and Marsh to the end instead of one and Morris/NCN. But I didn’t plan Wade being this cheap.
Would then need to bring in someone sub 160k still alongside Rashid.

So with 3 trades to burn I have a clean slate and not clear who to get apart from Pattinson.
What I am not totally getting is why are so many of you targeting Heat players right now? Apart from Pattinson and his BE?
I get we need to start to build up for those late DGRs but it’s still a few rounds away for the Heat.

Scorchers coming off the DGW and teams likely to have 3+ and looking to reduce that figure.
Leaves Strikers, Stars and Heat.
Strikers and Heat with upcoming doubles and assume more appealing options from the Heat which is why they have been targeted.

Cutting in particular i think is a great trade in pending teams tomorrow. Same team as last game and he’s an excellent in. Potential to open, if not a late hitter. 2 spinners means they probably don’t bowl Renshaw, so he’s likely to get 4 overs and potentially even 1 or 2 at the death.
