My team is in serious trouble, I’d already purposely carried five doughnuts for looping purposes and now I have seven with Marsh and Harper. I’ll be flat out fielding a team next week and most of my Leagues are GFs. Another painful end to the Fantasy season.
At least NRL SC isn’t too far away.

Other things I'm thinking about: could it be positive option to trade Maxwell? It looks a lot like he's trying to get big situation experience into his younger players now they've locked up top spot.
I traded him for that reason, also i dislike having two batters from a team unless on a dgw so i held stoinis instead. Also zampa is back so i doubt he will bowl as much as he has been. Also its painful to watch not having a top 3 batter just limits the scoring potential, I had mcdermott tonight and he was looking very good but just didn't get a long enough bat.

Handy game 1
Yes
Wade VC
Ben Mc
Qais
Exact same combo, has sorta made my last trade a tough choice as was going to go livingstone to cutting for next week. Feel now i should run an extra striker with the strong start as I only have khan, head and salt. Not sure who i would want out of neser/siddle/agar thats why i originally skipped them as wasn't confident in picking one out of them.

Do you have any trades left this round ? If so can you trade a donut to Labuschagne (probably play).

Then next round trade Harper and SOS + 1

I do have a trade left.
I can either bring in Carey to avoid Harpers score this round (and who isn’t a bad SGW option for next round also)
or just wear Harper’s 18 and bring Labuschagne onto the bench to increase my SGW for next round, but either way I will need to field some Neser/Siddle/Boland/Ahmed types

It has to be Carey though right, three games of a bankable premium rather than 2 from Loose bus change whose role is vastly unknown

No idea / no idea

Glad that I have 20 hours to process it!

Wade = 116 + another game = 0/116 (From 1)

Boland VC = 4 + another game = C loop won’t be happening = 0/120 (From 2)

D Short = new POD recruit = I hope he gets picked for their next game = 0/120 (From 3)

Harper = 18 on keeper bench = I will now need to trade in Carey = most likely for M Short who also has DGW, but hopefully it can be a win = 0/120 (From 3)

Wright = 110 on my bench + potentially another game after that performance? = I am going to try and get his score by swinging Nevill to bat (Decision to not take Harper’s score makes things easier). I also have Gilkes, however, he is not guaranteed to not be selected, so might hold a trade just in case = 0/230 (From 4)

Leaves me with an on field team of:
Maxwell, Head, Cutting, Wade, Wright
Carey
Marsh, Rashid, Siddle, Short, Boland

Need to decide if I throw the C on Head or Rashid.

Whilst that all sounds positive after tonight, I am going to look very suspect next next week with only 4 DGW players before trades = Sutherland (Will he play, and if so, will he score), Harper (Not looking likely after tonight’s hit), Labuschagne (What will be his role be at the Heat?) and Cutting (I guess he will score well in 1/2 games?)

The small positive is unlimited trades after next round, so any pain I put myself in due to trying to snatch short term gains should only be temporary ... I hope!!

My brain is fried ... goodnight!

Strikers are yet to play with both Carey & Head this season together , so which one affects the other one or vice versa (throw in Weatherald & Salt) , AO , Optus , AO......who misses out ? or do they all share the pie ?

Already having head and salt Im passing on Carey, can’t run their top 3 and expect all to fire, I have enough non bowl options to ride the rollercoaster of luck as it is such as AB for the last 2 weeks without bringing in another who could wreck my round in 2 balls

The guy is a lock for 3/4 in any national side, the heat must bat him at 4 and I’d be looking for an over or 2, he will score point im sure of it, then again it is Leahman we’re talking about here

Can remember a game earlier in the season when Weatherald went gangbusters early and it looked like Carey wouldn't get a look in, then he basically caught up in the last six overs. Reckon there's enough to go round!

Not sure I totally agree with this , he has played 3 ODI's for his country and batted in 2.

Yes he has had a outstanding 6 months in Test cricket.

Has played 7 BBL games so far which have been ordinary.

Regardless of his Test record , I doubt he is a better option at 3/4 than ABD even at their respective stages in their careers.

I actually would have him , Peirson & Cutting at 5-7 ready to "float" depending on Game situation , match ups etc etc.

Think on BBL form so far this season Renshaw must be very close to making the next Australian T20 side , plays the "controller" role very well.

Lynn
Heazlett
ABD
Renshaw

in my opinion

I have one trade left to use so as I can't get Smudge the way I wanted too , it will be out of Weatherald , Head & Carey.

Probably the fact that Head might bowl a over or 2 will probably sway me in his direction.

yep and where was Head ?

first time this season they will have all 4 of them in the same side.

people are worried that Maxy is not batting enough when he is at 4 , no difference now to Carey.

Salt , Weatherald , Head could conceivably bat 15 of the 20 especially against a weakened Stars pace attack or they could be 3fa 30.
