Would like your thoughts on starting 2 super premiums in the middle and two guys who are cheaper, who I'm not sure are actually underpriced and are fairly injury prone. Prestia was actually given some time off after carrying achilles tendinitis into the finals series and is just now up to speed. I can see him having a decent year but he's 26 and only had one year above last year's average where he averaged 106. He did end last year on fire but it's hard to know if that's anything to put faith in given his age. Cogs I don't mind so much as a cheaper option but I reckon you're light on in the middle. He is a little bit underpriced, but not by that much, but he does have a high ceiling. The issue is he is still coming off a bad knee injury even if he's in full training now. I still like the pick if you're saving money to spend elsewhere. I'd go Dawson to Doch and find extra money so you can upgrade one of them to Cripps or Danger.
Like the rest of your team but I reckon Wingard is a wait and see and just a risk in general. I'm more keen on either Tom Lynch from Richmond or Jack Steven if he's fit and has a pure midfield role outlined for him at that price.

Dawson/Houston to Docherty and prestia to Oliver. He is under for a genuine top 8 mid.
Agree with the comments on Wingard.

Defence: Young to Gould
Midfield: Rowell to Oliver
Forwards: Wingard to King
While I see merit in starting 4/5 premium midfielders, I have the following concerns with these:
- Nat Fyfe - injured preseason and what role will he play?
- Josh Kelly - I considered, but is injury prone and at that price I want 22 games
- Cripps - will he be hard tagged and what impact will the mature age recruits have on his midfield time?
- Dunkley - will he play forward as inferred in a recent interview (see midfielder thread).
- Mitchell - uncertain when he will play/likely to be managed
- Dangerfield - likely to play sometime in the forwards/what role considering his age.
- Bontempelli - I had him last year and I am avoiding him like the plague.
Dion Prestia started 2019 slowly and another full preseason should further improve his fitness base.
Considering 2019 was the first time he played 22 games since 2014 would indicate a better fitness management by the sports science team at Richmond.
He scored 100+,13 times during 2019 and from R16 only had 2 scores less than 100.
Prestia turns 28 in October 2020, so he should be in the prime years for a midfielder.
I am predicting an increase in his average due to decreasing the differential between his worst and best scores.
I expect him to get off to a flyer due to the amount of games at the MCG.
You mention the risk with Coniglio, however, Docherty has not played in 2 years and is a greater risk imho and which I am not willing to take.
Thank you for your comments, they are appreciated.
