Genuinely perplexed as to who the third DGW player i should bring in this week.

Locked in bring in Richo and Patto (I already have Laughlin and Nabi)

Potential candidates: Boyce, Finch, Webster, Cutting, De Villiers, Christian

Any thoughts?

Team that took out the weekly made their team this round. Don’t like that at all.
Agree. I don't like this either.

Ive thought 3-4 rounds should be a minimum entrance to win except the first 1-2 rounds. But then I realised people would just start their teams 3-4 earlier banking solely on top prize for the round they want to win. It's probably easier to do this closer to the end of the season too when the majority of people give up. Poor form I say. But unless rules are changed then it'll continue to happen. Don't ask me about what/how those rules could be changed though, there seems to be always loop holes that people flaunt.

This round it might not matter that much if you don't have a lot of DGR players.
The recent record of the Heat is less than impressive.
Heat:
rnd.12 - 273 points v 6ers - 519 points; Best: Pattinson - 93 (only score above 35)
rnd.11 - 460 points v Gades - 612 points; Best: Laughlin - 108, Heazlet - 94, Lynn - 78, Cutting - 75, Pattinson - 36
rnd.10 - 174 points v Strikers - 598 points; Best: Renshaw - 61 (only score above 35 but Pattinson missed)
They have two away games: against the Stars who up until the last two rnds were the hardest team to score SC points against, and then the Gades.

The Gades have been about average in SC scoring. They are likely to have S Marsh and Harper missing but get Finch and Richardson back. They are away to the 6ers (a tough match-up) and then home to the Heat (who knows how the Heat will perform?)
rnd.12: 432 points v Hurricanes - 472 points; Best: Nabi - 115, S Marsh - 104, Boyce - 67, Webster - 61, Patel - 18, Christian - 4
rnd.11: 612 points v Heat - 460; Best: Boyce - 147, Patel - 113, Christian - 78, Webster - 52, Harper - 46, S Marsh - 42, Nabi - 33,
rnd.10: DNP
rnd.9: 519 points v Thunder - 376 points; Best: Christian - 132, Harper - 83, S Marsh - 68, Fekete - 61, Nabi - 52, Patel - 34, Webster - 20, Boyce - 0

Going on those scores:
Heat: Pattinson is about the only Heat player you'd consider
Gades: Nabi you'd consider as he appears to be getting better with more matches; Christian, Boyce and Webster might be worthwhile if you're prepared for the odd poor score.

As I already have Lynn, Pattinson and Christian I'm going with Finch, Richardson and Nabi
This makes me feel a lot better, my only DGWs are Cutting and Boyce ?

I have Cutting, Christian and Nabi, and plan to bring in Richo, very likely Patto and probably Boyce.

I think you could close this one by requiring the player to play the whole season to be eligible (start at round 1 and maybe only have one round where they don't change their side at all). I agree that people always look for loopholes though.

Without looking, who do you think is the highest averaging BAT only player?
Some good guesses in this one - the answer is Beau Webster. Averaging 55.8, which ranks him 29th overall. Just ahead of S Marsh, Wells, Lynn and Hales.

Stoinis and Wright have higher averages and are both DPP, but haven't actually bowled.

I originally had cutting locked in but now i don't think he will bowl 7-8 overs and I don't think he will necessarily bat either

Where as i feel boyce is more likely to bowl his full 8 overs but webster and Finch will both bat in both games

My opponent has none of these players at this stage and I'm solely playing to win my league so big decision

This makes sense and I agree with your assumptions. Boyce seems to get his overs almost as consistently as anyone, and will have some favourable grounds to bowl at.

Dropped back down to 836th.

Some poor decision making & captain choices has cost me the last 3 rounds.

Will keep trying.

Yeah i think i am leaning Boyce now.

Hoping for at least 80 for him which is very achievable.
For Finch or Webster to pass 80 they can't really afford to fail in either innings unless they make one big score
