1,126 (Cutting)

I am not up with the great scores on here but I’m ecstatic with my final score after being 1/235 after the first two games. No Finch combined with Maxy + Siddle + Richo = a grand total of 15 points, I somehow got away with only having 5 DGW players on field - and one of them was Richo! Thanks also to captain Cutting for your efforts today!

Thanks so much for your positive feedback , greatly appreciated.

The way I will loop (might be the right way or wrong way)

Bench Bat will be Hurricane/Thunder player and Ollie Davies

WK Bench will be Wade

Bowling Bench will be Hurricane/Thunder and Jason Sangha.

If I am happy with my 3 bench playing players scores I will then use a donut in each of the 3 positions onfield.

One of these donuts will also be Captain in case my Hurricane/Thunder VC loop player fails.

If they all fail I will then field a player from the Stars/Sixers instead of the donut

Just ensure your onfield donut is from the Sixers or Stars or in your case Labuschagne works as well.
Thanks man.

I'm a bit dumb as far as looping goes (and quite a few other things if I'm honest) do you not think that Wade is a viable VC option? And wouldn't you use the on field donut as you're C if your Hurricane/Thunder player does ok? Sorry about the Q's, had a few bevvies and might not be seeing things as I should.

Only 792 for me.
Almost everything went wrong:
"vc" on Richo when I could have gone with Finch or Nabi then the "c" on Lynn. That's either 209 points lost ("vc" on Finch) or 108 ('vc" on Nabi).
Boland and Ellis on bench outscoring Khan and Siddle by 113.
Curran on bench outscoring Carey by 52.

I hate to think what my rank for the round will be. Hopefully not as bad as the #57,974 I was for rnd.2.

Would you believe my team value is over $2,600,000?

A somewhat disappointing 1,186 that should have been 1,232 if I'd been paying more attention.

Lost the coin flips on MMarsh vs Labuschange and KRichardson vs Nabi to the tune of 20 to 237 - solid judgement calls there.

Could have been a really strong score to close proceedings but alas I wasn't good enough to make the right moves.

Short or Sams will be my VC

yes you would use one of your onfield donuts as Captain if your VC does ok , sorry didn't make that clear

nothing wrong with Wade as VC

Thanks Herbie.

So bascially can you put a 0 and a good player on the bench from the first game...see how they perform...if they do well have a 0 on field so they are subbed in. If they go poorly just trade in a good player from the second game?

I think he means that he'll have the Stars/Sixers player already on the field that he can loop the donut with?

*Edit....nah, got that wrongo_O

You are looping the Hurricane/Thunder player

Stars/Sixer player has to either be a donut or premium depending on what your Hurricane/Thunder score

Bat 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 , donut (or premium)/ Hurricane/Thunder , ?

Wait to see what the Hurricane/Thunder player scores then decide what to do.

1,130 - Nabi (c)

Benching Wade in favour of playing Siddle hurts real bad. A couple of wrong 50/50 calls over the past few rounds have stunted my progress so will have to rely on the luck of the Finals rounds to finish off the season on a good note.

I'll happily take credit for my assessment of Mujeeb against his opponents for the round though...:)
v Stars: 4-0-11-2 (15 dot balls)
v Renegades: 4-0-14-1 (14 dot balls)

Yep, I made a blue in bringing in Boyce instead of him, oh well, I should listen harder.

Lockout open!

Crawled my way back from a very sketchy start to the season, but made it to the top 1000! Put a lot of focus on being in a good place for the second half of the season and it's paying off now.

Couldn't have done that without the excellent BE analysis from @Tails and the advice from the rest of the SCS crew!
