C duties guys ?
Thinking most teams will be very similar, so a smokey captain choice could be fun.
Thinking Salt. He can go off when he is in the zone.
I think Sams, RK19 and Morris will be pretty popular.

Hales another one whom is in good form. I'm always cautious about captioning a one trick pony, especially when batting is that on trick ?

does your 8-9 include or exclude RK19 on recent scoring ?

I agree people tend to pick the previous higher scoring players almost automatically
Yes, RK19 is in my team, based on the damage he can do.

I recall I didn't have him for the DGW in round 4, he destroyed it and my good start to the season. Yes it was a DGW, but he can be such a damaging player and a player that I for one am not willing to bet against again.

I can't exclude him (would've if they were playing the Canes though) , Strikers have had a few days off , think they are primed for a big one and their key players will lift.

Will play "safe" and give him the captaincy and hope for a 3fa.

So with the rain earlier in the day, who does a slightly wet ball suit? Spinner or fast bowler. Trying to work out who stays onfield lol.

In case anyone has advanced knowledge of who is going to win tonight.

From the seven games at Adelaide oval the split of the 11 top SC scores in each game are (winning team / losing team):
8/3 - 3 times
7/4 - once
6/5 - 3 times
Not surprisingly, the winning team has had the majority of the top 11 scores in every game.

To give you some extra background on what’s been happening here in the city of churches

Thursday: mid 40s, no rain

Friday: mid 30s, humidity in the 90s, heavy heavy rain from about 6pm onwards through to Saturday morning

Today: low 20s, not as humid as yesterday but still humid, rained most of the morning but only on and off from then. Very little sunshine

Currently: humid, overcast but no dark clouds and nothing that looks too ominous. No sunshine.

Note: I’m about 8km west of the ground which is where I think the weather comes from

Always worth a punt but I think batsmen are pretty poor C choices unless they have shown long periods of consistency. A bowler can stink it up and still get a wicket making the choice not an abject failure. But yeah depends on your risk tolerance. I'm down to Siddle or Sams. Probably toss a coin.
