Might be the year to rock a Kelly/Cogs/Sloane at M4 then a McCluggage/Walsh at M5 if a person is dead set on Grundy & Gawn.

I am still leaning towards a cheap R2 and 5 guns.
Wouldn't you be better off starting a F/M and D/M in there , at least that way you know they should be keepers and then trying to upgrade to premium mids around their byes , always seems to be a number around that $ 550k.

Wouldn't want McCluggage , Walsh types stuck at that awkward 98-103 bracket.

Just a thought

love JPK as a footballer

yet never hear people complain about Clarko letting him go

yet poor old Horse gets berated all the time about a bloke who repeatedly refused to follow team orders and the senior players advice given to him (something the player has admitted himself)

amazing to see how different people see and view things , guess that is why we are not all robots

I’m thinking of going Yeo so I can afford Cumming at D5.

I know TKelly has just arrived but I still think Yeo is a high upside pick with a good bye.

Thoughts?
I think if he was going to be an uber-premium he would have done it by now. I guess he could push into the top bracket but I don't think there are any compelling reasons that he will. Even at his dominating best over the last couple of years his highest SC score was 150. And last year he only reached 30 possessions once. It's his superman tackling and clearance work that gets him the 105 average, but with TK around that could conceivably drop off a little bit, as at time last year Yeo was looking gassed doing so much of the heavy lifting.

I had TK as M5, but have moved him out as I'm unsure how the eagles mids/nicnat will affect each other's scoring. I'm thinking of one of the F/M 450k options in M5 now. What are your thoughts on Merrett ?

He still played 15 games in 18 though. Could be a few more clearance/possession points though with nicnat, but I think TK kind of cancels that out though.

yup there is always a favourable 1-2 between a ruck and 1 midfielder just hard to pick the 1
