I'm going to pretend I think things are going ahead, just in case we get caught out and it does.
What do people think we should do about rookies? There obviously haven't been the usual announcements of debutants, so if we lock in a team tonight we are pretty much flying blind. It is incredibly hard to fill the bench, let alone work out rookies we want on field. The Noble/BZT types that are saving us in SC are not good value here.
The only thing I feel confident enough about to assert my dictatorial authority on is that we need Naismith.
Jacobs is priced at 514k (priced to score 69) v Naismith at 284k (priced to score 38).
I don't think we can build a team without Naismith.
Should we go with a semi-final draft tonight but commit to changing bench rookies tomorrow when teams are named?
Or do our best locking in tonight, which I think will mean a more mid-pricery team than I would otherwise go with?
If we go with teams tonight, I might ask for a show of hands on bench rookies.

I reckon let's try lock it in tonight. It'll be just too crazy to try do it tomorrow or Friday with all that's happening. I think a Budarick and B.Williams type would be fine for us to start no matter what. Outside of that I think it's fine to go midpricery and maybe place a few pricier guys on bench.
Something like this for a midpricer team? Obviously we'd have to make room for Williamson if he was named tonight.

Yes. If we free up 50k we can get Williamson if named, and if he's not we can put in Ash or McAsey. Happy to be corrected but I don't think there's much else sub 270k.
D Smith down to Heeney gets us enough. I don't mind Howe as an option to one of the DEFs but wasn't that popular when suggested in last draft. Happy to hear other options to free up 50k. I think Macrae and Grundy probably needed as C options but apart from that everything up for grabs.

I am just reading quickly during intermittent gaps at work so haven’t contributed, but I am happy with your discussed resolutions @stephen and @Bomber18
Based on the social distancing measures that we have just been informed of at work, to take effect immediately, I can’t see the AFL going ahead. I guess we will know soon.
