Is anyone running with only 4 mid premiums?

Considering going 4 + Rowell, Anderson, Green, Pickett and then using the cash to get a Sturt/King/Taylor off my forward line

I read he was only over the injury after Marsh 1 and needed the WAFL practice game to get some fitness back into him.

That could well be the case for Marsh 1, But I do know he was definitely selected for game 2 though, and the Eagles decided not to play him and to play a player short and for Hickey to play WAFL instead.

The consensus over here is very much that Williams is the future, and has gone past Vardy and Hickey. I'd imagine if Williams had 10-15 games already under his belt... he'd be playing instead of Hickey.

Yes I remember you thinking that we might go Hickey vs Gawn.

I think this may only be a week 1 thing because we are playing Gawn, It's not fitness as Williams has trained all week and was in the extended squad, and don't forget Hickey was totally out of favour in the pre-season despite being available for selection.

I can see Williams coming in next week, also Simmo said today about maybe going back to 1 ruck with the shorter matches.

No brain R3 IMO, 100% comes into the side when NN is rested. Hickey takes the #1 role and Williams slides into his spot.

I’m running Conroy - $102k from the Suns, Suns players are generally great from a loophole perspective and the loophole will be extra valuable in a shorter season. Plus we've still got thirty trades so it would be easier to burn a trade to get Williams in down the track if he gets a gig.
