Need some help please guys. I've messed up and forgot to put E on Naismith somehow.

The only thing I can think to do was go Petracca to Ceglar (which I was probably going to do anyway) and Williams to Xerri. Then I can swing Ceglar to R2 and Xerri forward. This will only get me Cavarra's 35.

Can you legends please have a look and see if you can think of a better idea? Should I do nothing and suck it up?

good start score wise... but zero depth to my team, little concerning already.
Just depleted that further by taking Sturt’s 100 on field, got Mahoney in as round 1 deadwood.
just think scores now crucial, with short season and inevitable break coming.
Neale, Kelly, Bailey and Roberton to come

Righto team

Need someone to tell me why it would be crazy to go Gawn to Ceglar today so I can then go rookie to Naismith (for example McAsey > Naismith) and a second trade?

Leaves Ceglar at F3 and Grundy/Naismith as ruck with potentially Pitonet at R3 (eventually)

Might even give the chance to get Fort in for say a Cavarra...

McAsey wasnt on the field for me this round, so Williams would take his place at D8

Not crazy at all. I would pull the trigger on that.

That’s not to say that Gawn won’t go massive by the way. Naismith, at his price, looks too good to refuse though and I’m expecting Ceglar to score very well too.

C: B Grundy

Played: R Laird, L Ryan, S Docherty, J Noble, B Zerk-Thatcher, P Dangerfield, J Macrae, J Kelly, P Cripps, M Rowell, M Pickett, B Grundy, S Naismith, A Brayshaw, T Lynch, D Smith

Yet to play: D Roberton, D Hannebery, C Taylor, J Brander, T Mitchell and C Petracca.

Disappointed with L Ryan, A Brayshaw and T Lynch but apart from them content with the others and can hopefully manage a 2100.
So Connoisseur Taylor or King on field today , see u have Taylor don't know if u have King

Petracca to Ceglar. Ceglar to R2.
Brander to FWD and Williams to DEF so you can get Brander’s score instead of Cavarra.

I have King on the bench and would lean towards fielding Taylor, partly due to his performance in the recent preseason match as well as displaying a greater likelihood to avoid a 0-40 score which King could deliver as a KPF.

Thanks mate, these are my thoughts too, even though I had resolved to stay strong on the GG set up due to not having them last year, this year doesn't feel like other years...

Why wouldn't you back King to outscore Cavarra ?

If you trade Starcevich to O'Connor , get Comben , does that get you Roberton to Ceglar at all ? and keep Petracca

Petracca - > Long , might get Williams to Ceglar

plenty of options just think of future rounds as well though
