Hmmm - will need to think about this, especially given that having the absolute top end talent is (in my experience) more inportant in DT than in SC. Could make things tricky.

Almost thinking trying to get some $$$ from Dunkley - > Bennell and then hoping to upgrade both BZT & McAsey to possible keepers.

Still will need 8-12 downgrade trades to fund 8 onfield upgrades so doesn't allow for too much messing around.

Hard to work out what to do with the reduction in quarters are we better off waiting a few rounds to get a idea on premium scoring and waiting for their prices to drop (maybe)

Indeed, I just logged in and had forgotten how badly some premiums had scored. I was in the top 17% of sides and still had 7 premiums score 75 or less

It looks like with Georg missing round 2, Sturt is the only main cash cow I’ve missed.

Maybe there’s more scope to trade around premium price drops if that’s the case?

Definitely feels like a different approach is needed in this format this year. Only 17 players scored triple figures in round 1...those players priced above 750k could see their prices crashing pretty quickly.

Shame I’ve got 4 rookies to correct otherwise I might look at trading my high prices premos

Edit: 47 players scored triple figures in round 1 last year

I probably have 8-10 rookies that might not play Round 2 so probably better focus on trying to fix as many of them as much as it would be nice to move on Dunkley & B Smith.

Have BZT & McAsey both in defence so will need to be very creative to do something there , especially with Starcevich & Williams at R3.
