Out- MacPherson, Brayshaw, Tom Green, mccluggage, BZT.
In- Bewley, long, Viney, Jack Stevens, doedee. Could it work or sounds crazy?
I have 4 of your "outs" in my team too unfortunately, and have been considering dumping all 4, so I know what you are dealing with. Bit worried you have no top line players with your trade ins. The players chosen should generate some cash, but think you'll end up with a below standard final team at that rate, as you will run out of trades.

HARLEY Bennell will play his first AFL game since 2017 after being selected by Melbourne for this week's clash with Carlton.

The talented former Suns and Dockers midfielder was congratulated at Demons training on Wednesday as a confirmed starter this week.

The Demons also confirmed that last year's No.3 pick Luke Jackson and running half-back Trent Rivers will also make their respective AFL debuts against the Blues
Here everyone have a spanner on the house. This news has me ****ting bricks, I don't know who to grab early now.

We’ve all heard of midprice madness but this is midprice insanity!

Tell you what though, this is the season to attempt it.

If you go through with it, I would hate to come up against a team like yours in the early rounds of the season.

I personally would be avoiding Steven, and be going Devon Smith if you didn't have him or finding the cash for Wingard/Petracca.
As Ben says, if there ever was a year this would be it.

These rookies might force the hand on which ruck cover I can afford and forced into holding Bont.
1. Still would like to grab Jacobs for a few weeks and jump down into Pittonet(or Jackson now being named.)
2. Starc to Rivers(+30k) or BZT to Rivers(+72k) is likely second trade.
3. Mahony/Green into Bennell
4 + 5 Georgiades and/or Sturt if named.

English -> Jacobs
Walsh -> Cunnington
Smith -> Hurn
Brayshaw -> Ceglar
Green -> Bennell

Thoughts on these trades fellas? Cash is king this season so a couple of those trades is to ensure I don’t get stuck with high BE’s on a couple of players who aren’t certified keepers, to keepers who started the season on fire.

Would you go for Wingard/Petracca over e.g. Ceglar?
Mighty tough one that. If the RUC/FWD cover isn't critical I'd consider one of them over Cegs. Still think Ceglar will have a pretty good year and be very handy RUC cover if you need it. But I've been massive on Wingard since about August last year, really like what he's produced in the Hawks intra club, preseason and in Round 1. Same can go for Petracca. Can see Wings and Truck maybe out averaging Cegalr by 5-10, just need to weigh up the RUC cover importance.

I think you've nailed it re: Ruck cover. Naismith news will be the main factor I guess.

Thinking of doing
Cavarra > Sturt
Tom Green > Bennell
Max King > Darcy Fort (if Fort is named)
Cogs > Viney

Alternatively can go Oliver > Viney but not sure what to do with the remaining cash.

This allows me to put Fort F5 and Sturt/Taylor F6
