Does anyone have any thoughts on trading Dunkley? He played pure mid in round 1 but just didn't get into the game. He has a high b/e and I am slightly worried about libba playing. I'm starting to think he might be motivated to bounce back from a bad start to the year.

Do you think if you started with Bont you have to hold now? Or trade to danger? Anyone else has the dilemma....
I really don't know. I don't want to sideways trade him and probably will keep him, but get the feeling I could drop a lot of points by keeping him these next few rounds.

Out of interest, does anyone have his average against GWS? He usually is the one to cop the MDB tag.

Careful of the magnet board with Dogs to have 3 games in 12 days and 2 potential tags in Steele and De Boer.

"Rupert Wills is another one who's had a standout three-week block and was stiff to miss in round one and we went with Tyler Brown and we've gone with Tyler again."

This is beautiful one less to worry about.

Might just stick with my planned Riewoldt - > Jacobs trade and slide Naismith to R3.

Who knows might have to trade Grundy to Pittonet in Round 3 ?

Cheers Bomber,

Sturt I’ve just traded from Cavarra, which I’m sure I’ll do if he is named for the next game.

Interesting moves and I can see how that could work with the lack of cash gen but will they make enough money to be worth it? The cash rise for this week is set to be lower than usual
I’m doing Viney myself for cash gen. He makes around 100k in two weeks with 100s which would be enough for me!

Howe/Simpkin could be taken for cash gen or as value keeper selections. I’m not planning to take them but have considered.

I already have Fort and am considering Townsend as a cash maker as well.

Hmm i have 4 options to bring in ruck cover as I have Naismith.
Pittonet a week early(Opponent is Gawn)
Ceglar to later switch into Forward line.
Jacobs for cash generation a week earlier than Naismith if he were to miss and Pittonet's second game.
Or dump a premo like Whitfield or Bontempelli to get Gawn in now.

I'm flicking him.

Using his cash to restructure my woeful defense from 2 premos to 4 premos. No more McAsey & BZT.

I really like Callan Ward over Viney as Viney needs to punch out a few 100's to get to Ward's price, roughly speaking. Ward has a prem scoring history & been playing well in match sim.

Saves me a trade later on too moving Viney to a legit keeper.

In saying that, I already have Andy McGrath at M5, so my M7 & M8 by season's end will be Ward and McGrath (all going well injury-wise), so not the strongest midfield.

Lol - I was just playing around with the order of my current intended trades and realised that I need to do 3 of them prior to the Thurs game and the other 2 prior to the Fri game due to needing to raise enough cash and also based on when certain players are scheduled to play. It would be easy to stuff things up with 5 trades in play ?

I don’t mind the idea of doing Oliver to Viney so I could go King or Davis to Fort or Bewley. I Might actually do that

Not as keen on the Howe idea as I won’t make as much money from the trade and his inconsistency could see his price rise plateau.

I have Naismith R2 and was planning to trade Gawn in with his easy draw.
I'm not sure, but may still hold onto Naismith

Did you see Larkey is apparently injured which could allow Xerri to take his spot.. he's a good one to have based on the preseason scoring!

i am holding Bont on the hope he got the bad game out of the way RD1.

Would so have loved the early Sunday game to be one of the later two and the Sydney game the early one. If that was the case could of used any of the bulldogs mids to go up to Jacobs if Naismith missed.

Question marks of Geo and Sturt playing. Also, if Hogan plays, Sturt value may diminish, although still no choice to bring him in if playing.

That could leave just one trade to cover Naismith - Pittonet vs Darcy

Bont coud go to Neale (save choice) or Wingard/Petracca, combined with a Darcy in the ruck (for Roberton) allowing Hurn to come in for BZT.

Thoughts?
