Dang, Naismith potentially missing is a serious spanner.

I have Conroy at R3, so initial thoughts are just moving him to Cameron. Won't be as straight forward as that though, expecting he'll be named regardless Thursday night as it sounds on the minor side. Of course Cameron will play the first game of the round so won't be able to make a sneaky late trade if Naismith is ruled out at the 11th hour.

Cameron feels like he could become a clogger, though. He's a Mason Cox replacement right? Is that only a 1 weeker?

I'd obviously be keen to get him in, but I think next week would be my play for him.
Yeah maybe, but I'm thinking I may sideways Comben to Cameron and he can provide a floating donut and cover for Naismith. Just an issue if I want to VC Grundy and have no other option. Good thing for me it's looking like I'll have plenty of FD options this season.

Which of Josh Kelly or Whitfield should I keep?

I know both scored 100+ in Round 1, but my team requires a structural change and I am looking to replace one with a premium defender.

I would keep Whitfield as he will probably be the best averaging forward this season. Kelly looks to be a very good pick too but there are a stack of mids who will probably average similarly.

Anyone hanging onto English?
Up against Grundy in Rd 1 and struggled. But doesn’t every ruckman struggle against Grundy
This is now my option with Naismith potentially missing. Might hold English for another week and see what happens.. tempting to just go English to Grundy tho..

I have Naismith R2 and was planning to trade Gawn in with his easy draw.
Yeah his draw is a really good reason to keep hold of him. The scoring of rucks in round 1 was generally weird and hard to trust and the cash gen for the next game is going to be lower than people imagine, prices are going to change but by half as much as normal.

I’m thinking of holding Roberton as I believe in round 1 his heart condition might have made him genuinely fearful of picking up COVID. Impossible to know but it’s certainly possible.

Any thoughts on what to do with this team besides rookie adjustments?

I’m planning to hold Roberton for one more too, especially if Carlisle plays. BE of 70 is achievable.

Looks great to be honest. Did u already have Sturt?

Other than obvious rookie corrections, you could consider chasing last week points like Houston/Oliver/Lynch to Howe/Viney/Simpkin or trying to fit in a Townsend or Fort type. All moves mainly with an eye on cash gen.

Do you think if you started with Bont you have to hold now? Or trade to danger? Anyone else has the dilemma....

Potential cash loss also a tag from De Boer likely and 3 games in 12 days is a tough one if u can spare a trade then yes.

With Xerri if he is to play wonder if he is better option over Cameron as Cox is still playing scratch match but Larkey has a hotspot.

I’m trading him out but it’s more because he’s my only pathway to Gawn.

In a year like this, I think you can justify trading him out as long as you have a particular plan in mind.

My thinking is, when Larkey is fit he comes back into the NTH side straight away. With Collingwood, when Cox is fit I don't think he's necessarily a walk up start, if Cameron puts in a decent performance or two I won't be one bit surprised to see him hold his spot over Cox.

Yeh i just may pull the trigger on Pittonet a week early and hold Naismith.

Cheers Bomber,

Sturt I’ve just traded from Cavarra, which I’m sure I’ll do if he is named for the next game.

Interesting moves and I can see how that could work with the lack of cash gen but will they make enough money to be worth it? The cash rise for this week is set to be lower than usual
