If anything I'm wondering how to fit in all of these cash cows that seem to be presenting! Have 8 potential bubble boys listed for round 3, could be more yet.

Also I think it is worth considering that we should get more cheap premo options this year ... if you're not set on your specific premos, there should be plenty of viable options over time, given the likely volatility in scoring.
Traditionally, Rd3 (this year it is Rd2) is for Rookie Corrections, so that's my first priority. But I am reluctant to trade in any players that are having their first game, (learnt the hard way in past years).

Secondly, because of the long break between Rds 1 and 2, I can see there may also be Premo Corrections. But again, I am reluctant to trade out Premos to chase money, as maybe we will have more Cash Cows available then we thought.
Also, we really don't know what affect the changes are going to have to our already selected players, based on one game only.

Those who have Sturt and Cavarra - who are you thinking of moving Cavarra on for, now that Geo looks in doubt?
I’m seeing Stephen Hill the only affordable one - hoping he is named.

Would prefer to pay extra for Townsend of you don't have him. Hill with his injury history is a risky trade in given his price won't rise this week.

Haven’t seen Curtis Taylor’s name come up much here as an option
Likely because most probably already have him would be my guess.
I'm starting to worry that Taylor might be my only FWD rookie to play this week.
Georgiades in doubt, Cavarra probably unlikely, Sturt my probable trade in option in doubt, and Ben Davis could be omitted if the talk of Keays, McHenry and Crocker all coming in is to be true. Might be looking to Kossie Pickett.

EDIT: And Bedford almost certainly out as well to round out my FWD line.

Swing Brander forward and bring in Rivers

2 pts in half a game.

I don't have Taylor and am considering him if no other forward rookies get up, but worried he could have some very low scores based on that first half game.
Yep I already have Curtis Taylor as well. Worried a zero is looming.
$7k short of Townsend ?

Who are your 8 confirmed bubble boys ?

Bennell , Cameron , Jackson , Rivers all confirmed.

Doedee & Pittonet most likely.

If Steven plays Friday night and scores a 100+ certainly could throw a cat among the pigeons and become a must have.

I didn’t have Pittonet or Cameron on the list, but did have Naismith and Hill. Georgiades also likely and Sturt possible from what I understand.

Personally I think I’ll be structuring my R2 trades around which rookies/cash cows I want come R3, and the ones I’m willing and able to go early on.

ok that makes sense , thought I must have missed some confirmed cheapies to play.

sounds like Freo are bringing in 4-6

I have brought Jacobs in , will just see how my rookies cope now when teams are announced , planning for the worse and hoping for the best , could have 8 missing in total.

Looking at KKP/Georgiades/Sturt and if I have to will reluctantly go early on Bennell

curious to see if Steven is named.

It's almost like round one again haha. I think you've got to try fit in as many of these guys as possible as they're likely to be the best rookies we get.

McHenry is a slightly annoying one as I don't think I will have any mid rookies to trade to him. Would've been nicer as a later downgrade option.

100%. I’m pretty sure you were the first to raise this point, but mooted selections are making it an even more compelling one.

The first wave of rookies is comfortably the best. Got to take them while they’re there in my view.

Flanders is also firming for selection. He is easier for the dpp but his price is more.
