Goddard and Heppell should be back there if they have DPP, definite locks.
Not so sure about Gibbs anymore but I'm certainly not gonna bring in Duffman!

chatting to a mate tonight who threw up a few what ifs about players who could gain dpp in defence
Mitchell, walker, mcveigh, bartel

Then throw in discounted players:
Birchall, waters, hurn, bock, suckling, ellis (sub effected av)

Trying to limit the amount of cash spent in defence could be a little tricky if these guys get dpp next year

Interesting.. heath shaws manager alludes that heath would like to play more up the ground on the wing.
A partial reason for him looking for a fresh start.

If it's true, and it's easy to believe it is, it's amazing, isn't it?
You'd be disappointed, if at your local footy Club, one of your best players wanted to leave because he wanted a position change. Disappointed, but you could probably understand it, after all, chances are HE is paying the club for the right to play there!
When you are privileged enough to earn more money than most of us will ever see, doing something you love, and being a part of something at an elite level, you think you'd just count your lucky stars just to be a part of it!
What's he going to do? Tell potential Clubs "I'll sign up, but I want to play on the wing!"
Petulant and child like! Collingwood would be better off without him, and they have lots of good young players coming through to replace him. Good young players that are hungry, and want to do the team thing, and realise they are just lucky to be a part of it!

If Heater leaves the Pies, Ill strongly consider Seedsman next year, seems the logical replacement.

Watts has resigned, and has said that he might play midfield :O Thoughts?
Personally I won't be having him in my side, and I don't think the midfield will work for him. Will be a very poor mans Jarryd Roughead when he plays mid.

Lots of very accomplished coaches got burnt by Watts this year, can't see it happening again.

Edit: but he'll be cheap! :D

The club want to move him on so pretty much due to his on field attitude/frustrations
