Someone tell Josh Kelly the captain leads by example.

So how about be where the footy is rather than where it ain't!

Luckily I heeded words of wisdom and kept Whitfield!

Hard to see Whitfield's price dropping much the way he's playing. I know hard tags aren't the thing for most sides but letting him run around by himself is just silly.
Taylor was matched up on him in Q1 and couldn’t go with him.

Roos are playing KHayden who has played as a tagger at VFL level, wonder if a change might be made.

JKelly is just playing too outside and his style just isn’t benefitting from the shorter games. I did know he plays more outside than most gun SC mids but thought he might be okay because he’s Josh Kelly. Can’t trade him out but I think he’ll average under 110 this season.

Fyfe, Neale and Cripps types are the mids that seem to be benefitting from the shorter games. High TOG mids who are the clear No.1 inside mids at their clubs.

You’d think Titch would benefit as well but perhaps his TOG is being managed a bit early on due to his return from injury: 89% and 82%.

Fyfe, Neale and Cripps are hitting 90%+ TOG: 93.5%, 91% and 90%.

In a shorter season like this, if Rowell goes close to a 100 avg, he may well be good enough to keep at M8 all year. No point upgrading if most other mids are only going at 105-108.

Really only a 16 game season for him, his average won’t get the chance to taper off late due to tiring out.

Yup if I had the luxury I would go up to Neale but I think may need to grab 2 rookies.

Points have still gotta go somewhere, after keeping an eye on the Brissy Freo game the other day, it seems like players that score well early and have a high SC : DT (In the is case Neale) keep that differetial in these shorter games, where I feel it used to flatten out a bit more in the longer quarters. Certainly it helps those with high TOG as you’ve shown.

Of the rookies Bennell is the one I think I will wait an extra week on and go Pittonet+Sturt or Cameron if he isn't named.
