Tempted by some ruck changes.
With 153k in the bank, Comben to Pittonet is do-able, hold Jacobs for at least another week (BE 21) and re-assess after some price changes in coming weeks.
So you want to pay $120k to upgrade, so you can get approx $120k in 3 weeks? If it was a sideways traide like Naismith maybe, but not this way, considering trades are valued at $150k.

Not me but I’m considering Xerri to Pittonet whilst the bubble is there too - the $120k price-difference is worth mentioning but say Pittonet gets to 450k (think O’Brien from last season) - I would pay that price

Ps couldn’t Xerri/Comben be a potential downgrade option for Pittonet/Naismith/any rook later on?

Jacobs - > Pittonet

should have just brought Pittonet in this round , was too worried he would score 50-60 against Gawn , so Jacobs scores that anyway......gotta laugh

EDIT

I blame Naismith , the original plan was to rotate he & Sauce at R2 according to fixture , so Sauce would have been benched v Goldy , oh well.
Jacobs - > Pittonet (R2) and pray
Cavarra - > Sturt/Georgiades/Cameron/Berry

hopefully Pickett , McInerney & Brown don't all get dropped as they might be needed to cover Sloane

hopefully KPP is back

I feel like the general vibe is that you have to chase all of the cash you can this season because there are going to be fewer opportunities to complete your team, so you need to go all out to get that cash. Is it possible that chasing cash will leave you too far behind in terms of points to make it up in the shorter season? Is grabbing Naismith or Pittonet for R3 just wasting your time because you have 5 weeks with 120K sitting on the bench so the cash gen that you might make is cancelled out?

OUT: Green and Cavarra

Pittonet is locked in.

Anybody have a strong opinion on D Cameron v Rivers? I have Starcevich so I’m tempted to pick Rivers to create a DEF/MID link.

I’m taking Cameron with a view to get Rivers for 150k odd the round after.

Pittonet the other trade!

Should have got rid of Naismith this round rather than benching him, pretty much need to trade him now. Will need to see teams to work out if I bring in Pittonet or someone else via DPP. Focussed too much on his good R1 score, not enough on his likely missing multiple rounds.

I've seen the ~$150k figure for a trade used in various places.
Would that number be affected by the shorter season?

What happened to SPS?

I think EPL Fantasy allow you to the option of resitting back to your original player once or twice each season (maybe).

Be interesting to see how many jumped on Howe this round and how many go again next round.
-6 BE with 100 he can go up another 49k and have 75 BE next game.
