He doesn't often miss too many games.

All I can find is bruised ribs , no mention of a crack/fracture or torn cartilage.

They might tell us a bit more info tonight
Broken ribs was just speculation. The guy doesn't miss too many games so one week is probably what we're looking specifically if he carried it into last week and played that game.

Martin to Petracca, Williams to Pittonet is what I've decided on. Trading a premium out doesn't feel right, and after Row's advice, I like the idea of a straight swap of Williams for Pittonet - especially as ruck cover for a few weeks!

2.2k short of Sloane+ Martin to Neale + Simpkin.
I can do the same outs to Neale and Rozee with $500 spare...

Edit: I'm not intending to trade out dusty, and I probably won't get another midfielder.

I will probably end up holding and if he misses second week he can become Gawn.

These seem a bit dodgy but subject to teams and with plenty of dpp moves am currently looking at Birchall and Zerk-Thatcher out for Butler and KKP. Butler seems entrenched and with a role, KKP is apparently loved by the coach, Birchall was one of my last picked and doesn't look like a potential keeper so should go before he leaks cash.
Of course teams can alter this very quickly with Dusty,Grundy, Sturt all part of my squad.
A bit of thinking time could see the forgotten Stephen Hill instead of Butler.
Again, subject to team drop.

Grundy Jacobs and Conroy, as my rucks, might leave Jacobs as an emergency if he pumps out a big score might take his score and pass Pittonet
Decisions decisions
Jacobs to Pittonet is tempting though

Since making his debut he has played 226 out of 233 games.
I keep coming back to one stumbling block .... Incentive ... he had a block buster year where he won every award on offer (aside from the Coleman) and subsequently gained a big contract .... other than "potential" future Flags what more does have to play for ... just pontificating ...

Just curious, do you have both Grundy and Gawn? Doing the downgrade seems easier if you have both.
See when a former winner posts something like this my attention level lifts ?

Could certainly see the merit in doing it if it immediately allowed you to upgrade a problematic $ 275-300 k forward & defender to a fallen premium , otherwise you would be waiting a few weeks for the rookie cows to have mooed enough.

Is Gawn your other ruck ?
No he isn't - which makes the move too risky now that Grundy is a confirmed starter.

If he was out this week, he was gone. A huge risk, that sets you apart from a large group of people who held him.

Would 100% be in front after one week (upgrading a forward and already had Martin out).. it is all about risk / reward after that one week and timing on when you can get him back in.

Not happening now - Dusty may go...

It's a good point , could be applied to a lot of sports people , what motivates them to perform week after week , season after season , or do they just know what they have to do and lift a extra gear when they need too.

Maybe he just enjoys having a kick with his mates (and gets paid a bucket load to do it) and when Cotch says "pull your finger out Dusty" he does

Look at blokes like Federer , Jokovic & Nadal etc etc just do what they need to all year then lift when the Slams are on , I guess it comes down in some way to personal pride in your performance.
