I haven't studied Adelaide's roster in depth, but it looks like they have a lot of older players with no superstars, rookies and second year players who aren't great, but no 4-5 year players coming on. List management doesn't look good.

1867/17 pre-updates on Ade v GCS game. I have Bewley, Sturt and Max King's 51 sitting there. So technically 1918/18 with Sturt and Bewley's scores to be taken into account (lowest 2 scores are C.Taylor - 44 and Pickett - 50).

Fingers crossed for 80+ scores from Sturt and Bewley!

Doubt it. I think he gets a leave pass this year all thing considered.

Might still tune in , Rowey will be a mess.

Same story , clearance & contested possessions.

After Crouch x 2 & Sloane nothing at all in the mids.

Slow and disinterested , no one wanted to chase , run or tackle.

Not sure who is promising on the list but need to get rid of the blokes who's career is not progressing and get 10-12 games in the kids.

For the games sake I hope Anderson , Busarick , King , Lukosious , Rowell all sign 10 year deals.

Exciting to watch , play for each other , may have finally got the egos out of the club.

Was sitting pretty with no Martin and no Whitfield along with J Kelly traded to C Rozee coming into the Saturday games until the unfortunate news. No Neale is inflicting more pain due to 2 consecutive captain scores under 105 and poor showings from the majority of my 5 midfield premiums selected over Neale (T Mitchell, J Kelly, J Macrae, P Dangerfield and P Cripps). Cannot remember why I passed on him as I like his consistency and durability and was cautious about Mitchell’s return but ah well.

Congratulations to those who selected Simpkin this round. I have been very keen on him since the resumption of the season and he was very unlucky to miss out on replacing Kelly this round. He will likely replace Long next round as was the plan with the Rozee selection but I am very tempted to turn Danger into Neale and Long into D Butler allowing Butler as a quick avenue to Whitfield in the coming rounds. Simpkin can still be selected soon via Hannebery or Brayshaw.

Yet to play: L Ryan, C Rozee and A Brayshaw

41 from Hannebery and 44 from C Taylor to likely drop out. Hopefully the trio to finish the round can manage to move my total to 1850 which I would be very happy with considering no Neale, Grundy (C) and the ESS/Melb situation.
