It looks like the rookie pipeline may have slowed a fair bit, or at least there aren’t many good ones I don’t own.

Could be a week for a correction or two. Long the main problem in my side.
Might look to a one-up, one-down this week if possible myself. Try and remove a rookie onfield.
As you say, not a lot on the cards rookie wise, next week especially, particularly if the Blues game didn't go ahead (Williamson).

I’m running by the assumption we will have an Essendon v Blues bye round.

At least one back for the Gawn owners :p

Cripps/Docherty/Devon will be headaches to cover
They have actually set a ridiculous precedent for the rest of the year, there's just random bye rounds from hereon that might affect random players....*** were they thinking.

Yep.

AFLF seems to be more enjoyable this season.

Anyway, I plan to just trade in players who might be enjoyable to follow (provided their teammates don’t get C19).

Danger to Simpkin locked for me!

The year of SC has just been rendered completely irrelevant by what should have been a relatively simple decision.

Those in favour might soon realise how wrong they were if/when another player tests positive and players from their team goes on a bye round, there's no skill involved and it relies completely on luck.

Also for those of us with Petracca/Gawn/Dev Smith the projected scores were actually lower than they probably would have scored!

Sadly I don't play AFLF so too late for me to start now.

Might actually wait on news this week re Greene & Kelly , hopefully all my rookies play again.

Apparently if Essendon have 26 available players they play.

Depending on Naismith , seriously tempted to go Grundy to him and run with Jacobs (check his BE) , Naismith & Pittonet.

Would like one of Greenwood , Petracca or Simpkin probably by upgrading Noble (depending on his cash forecast)

Look if I owned Whitfield, I’d probably be in favour for it for this round, but long term it just destroys any consistent outcomes in the game. Random premos missing, on top of your usual injury issues. And then random double game rounds later in the year for everyone!

Hard to take this year seriously overall wise, hoping I get a bit more luck in my league games.

Anyway, I’d assume we’ll have an Essendon v Blues bye round this round.

It’ll depend on the authorities and I highly doubt they would be lax on the definition of “close contact”. Connor was in full team training on Friday and used the team gym. Also attended an indoor team meeting on the Saturday.

Fingers crossed no one else actually caught it, but wouldn’t be surprised... I heard players will be tested on Tuesday.

Confusion lies in the full open training session and the gym session indoors and the meeting , I will leave it to the health experts.

Foxsports were saying they were all getting rested tomorrow so it might have changed again , I guess we should no by Wednesday what is officially going on.

L Neale - $737,600 - BE 84

Plays Ade this week..

Mid scores against Ade so far this season:
Rnd 1: JPK 129, Parker 125, (Heeney 152)
Rnd 2: Rozee 145, Ebert 127, Butters 119, Motlop 116, Boak 112, Duursma 109
Rnd 3: Rowell 141, Miller 126, Greenwood 111

It must scare the living snot out of the 55% of teams that don't own him, that it seems likely he goes 150+ again this week, and his price goes over $760k.

Talls against Ade
Rnd 1: Naismith 121
Rnd 2: Marshall 127, Lycett 117, Westhoff 101
Rnd 3: Witts 147, King 130

Not sure what tallish player benefits this week, other than McInerney $385,100, last Round 132, BE 1

Even if youre not a close contact you're still technically at some kind of risk of catching it, so I don't know how you can get them to play the following week, or have Carlton players agree to come in to very close contact with them on a football field.

Do you hold Neale until he plays a genuine run with player like De Boer and use the extra cash to go 2 x 600kish players?

Interesting to see Grundy with 189 BE

There is a play to trading out overpriced players.
I'm not sure you'll get 2 x $600k players, as it means your other trade out is a bit over $400k.
Trading out overpriced players generally requires:
They have a large BE, usually at least 160-170, preferably higher.
The player you trade in, in their place, can hold their own as a solid Keeper. Better than M7/8, D5/6, F5/6.
The cash it generates gets you to another Keeper in one trade.
So you are basically turning one overpriced player to 2 Keepers, with the use of 2 trades.
If you can't fit all these conditions, you probably shouldn't do it.
