Interesting to see Grundy with 189 BE
Definitely not 100% , think I could use his $$$ to improve my onfield scoring if Pittonet can outscore/match him

could also totally backfire and blow up in my face but oh well

might even look for another F/R to link with Cameron for if and when the bye rounds come

There is a play to trading out overpriced players.
I'm not sure you'll get 2 x $600k players, as it means your other trade out is a bit over $400k.
Trading out overpriced players generally requires:
They have a large BE, usually at least 160-170, preferably higher.
The player you trade in, in their place, can hold their own as a solid Keeper. Better than M7/8, D5/6, F5/6.
The cash it generates gets you to another Keeper in one trade.
So you are basically turning one overpriced player to 2 Keepers, with the use of 2 trades.
If you can't fit all these conditions, you probably shouldn't do it.
Say starting with Viney + Neale then go down to Danger + Bont atm is 1.22m into 1.11m players + 110kk for another future.

Just remember he scored like 56 against Goldy.
If Naismith is named to play , will either trade Grundy or Jacobs out for him , was hoping I could have turned Jacobs - > Whitfield Rd6/7 but might not make the required $$$

Yeh I think Jacobs is shot and have him myself. I would ideally like to get rid of him but need Pittonet to play to do so.
Could swing Williams but then there is no more real rookie in Defence so Doedee could be an option but then miss out Simpkin.

I currently am running

Pittonet , Grundy / Jacobs

with Cameron F8 & Williams D8 so a few options

think (hope) Naismith is another good cash cow

only really Williamson (Car v Ess possible issue) , Hamill (Crows) looked ok if you just need a bench cheapie

Yeh the Williamson factor was the reason.
Dan Butler is an option as he has -36 BE but idk if the ship has sailed on him. (Also plays his former side this round.)

Depends how much more money Baker can make , wouldn't imagine he is a season keeper , so would be a stepping stone at best , so you would probably need him to make another $ 100 - 150 k to be worthwhile.

I forgot K.Pickett didn't get a price rise this round and with Sturt injured now he is probably one I will make now. Possibly if Sturt is out for awhile, I will go up to Simpkin if the Pittonet game doesn't go ahead.

Very seriously considering Danger to Simpkin, Dangerfield must be carrying an injury. He’s looked cooked since Coronaball has returned. Can easily buy him back for peanuts down the track if required.

Opens cash for a Naismith grab at R3 should he be named which I like. What a year.

Who goes (assuming Jelly is named) - Danger or Jelly? Jelly’s price hasn’t taken a significant dip yet and may miss more games later in the season.
