Might be crazy but thinking maybe Darcy Moore will play in Howes role and Scharenberg play CHB (despite where they are named) as Darcy seemed to take the kick ins when Howe went down.
In the spirit of compromised teams that seems a popular point today am considering Noble to Moore.
I think he filled that role last year when Howe went out near the end of the season until he got himself injured again.

I haven't watched any bombers games this year and wondering why Ridley is doing so well...... also noticed Saad scoring similar, too.
Does he have a position change from previous seasons, or just getting better or maybe the ball is in there back half more often?

Was thinking to get him while he is cheap, but would hate to think it was just a fluke, and he would be scoring 60s from here on.
Pretty sure he was playing more as an undermanned key tall. Think this year he is more a ball user/Intercepter. He is only like 21 years old so natural progression aswell.
Both using the ball ridiculously well; Ridley 42 of 51 possesion effective. Saad with the run and carry out of Defense... I'm personally weighing up which one... Saad been pretty durable, Ridley super young...

Saad can get a fwd tag at times. Who knows what impact Mckenna will have on either of them if he gets back.

Geez I knew Victorians struggled getting drafted to any other state, but even moving there for a few weeks? Ouch.
It wont be a few weeks - I'd say it will be a minimum of 6 weeks based on rumblings around the COVID-19 situation in Victoria. Could even be longer. Gil is on record as saying the current arrangements will be in place for at least 32 days.

Wouldn't be surprised to see some players who have young children or even a new addition to the family this year indicating they don't want to go into a hub interstate for an extended period of time and that would be perfectly understandable.

Not brave enough this week but a definite watch for next week.
Second trade McAsey to Serong to go with yesterdays Ryder to Hayden.
Bank is built enough to get Whitfield next week now.
Subject to no late outs I have no donuts and have been able to use Brander to loop Kings score.

S Naismith to C Serong locked in via B Williams and B Starcevich.

As for the 2nd trade:

1. Preferred option- J Sicily/C Daniel (Whitfield next week and Hannebery downgraded to Hill/etc for an upgrade in RD7)
2. Belated ride on the Ridley train after mentioning him as an option RD2-RD3 (Means no S Hill but L Whitfield and mid/def premium under $570,000 odd next week)
3. 3rd time lucky for Andrews (Whitfield next week for Noble and roughly $125,000 for Hannebery to Yeo/T Kelly/etc or downgrade to Hill)

Didn't like any premium defenders that I don't have and had carnage in defence so went the following via DPP wih Rivers. 1593762118991.png
Wanted to wait and see with Titch getting de-bored and then bring him in for Fyfe on my bench next week, and as Brisbane will now have a heap of home games continuing you'd think having McCluggage and Neale in my side could pay off - or could implode!

Went for Noble and Pickett to Hill and Serong which frees up some cash for next week. Kept Fyfe in the end and also kept Martin - I'll wear the value drop on him rather than sideways trading again. Naismith sitting on the bench is a bit of a waste, but didn't have quite enough spare cash to make the trades I wanted to with him this week, he will be traded next week.

Pretty sure I want 2 of the following:
Green
Young
Hill
Serong

My gut telling me Green and Young (probably because I've watched them the most and am impressed by both)
Hill obvious risk, and Serong I'm not sure about, but Fyfe out and Blakely not picked, he could be the astute move.

I am weighing up Hill v Xerri to bring in?

Hill gives me a swing set with Brander.

Xerri handy to swing to R3 when I move Pittonet on, and could be used if needed as a swing set with Ceglar.

Leaning towards Xerri only for the extra $ saved.

Bit lost on this X and Y, would love to hear some opinions.

For context I have King's score as (E) but can only loop it by swinging Brander into the forward line. Need to trade in a defender to avoid a donut.

Leaning towards option one just.

Option one:
Trade BZT > Hill
- Miss out on King's 86 and will have to rely on fielding Taylor/Budarick (lose out say 20-30 points), will generate more cash by holding the forward rookies.
Option two:
Trade Taylor/Budarick > Hill (via. Brander)
- Will recieve King's 86 (gain 20-30 points) at the expense of cashing out a fwd rookie early. Also required to hold BZT.
- Important to note my fwd line will now require me to field two of Brander (or Hill), Budarick/Taylor, King, Xerri moving forward .
Analysing the opportunity cost: Option one will see my team value net ~20-30k but lose 20-30 points. Option two is the opposite.

Rivers and Sturt in... so in comes Serong to avoid a mid donut.

Is it too much to ask for 100pts from Sturt and Rivers combined? Probably...

Weighing up the exact same thing, probably going to go with Xerri mainly to make the Pittonet upgrade doable.

I started the year with Moore. Great player but struggles to get towards 15 touches which makes it hard for him to average premium numbers.
