Can't remember being more conflicted, with my trades. Do I bring a premo in, or try to catch the rookies for cash?

And I've got to do Howe to Hill or Saad/Ridley in the next 10 minutes.

Pickett > Serong
Noble > Young

Main thing I was happy with about these trades, is that I'm now able to access King's score because I swung Brander to Forwards, Budarick to Mids and Rivers to Defenders.

I passed on Hill despite his DPP and big first quarter because he went missing which is never a good sign for a decent cheapie. Young just seemed to get better.

Quick question - If I pull the trigger on Howe to Hill now can I still trade out Hill for someone else without burning a second trade?

Only asking because this happened with Zerrett a couple of weeks ago but I wasn't sure if that was the norm or because they were letting teams trade Melbourne and Essendon players out due to the game being cancelled.

Naismith to Gawn plus Viney to Mahony

Feels good to have the Beard in my team as a captain option. Keeping Fyfe, but the cost is that I am running with six midfield rookies this week. ?

Round 5

Nat Fyfe ---> Jack Crisp
John Noble ---> Christian Petracca

M8 Loophole of McHenry into Rivers.

Really didn't want to move Fyfe on, but the opportunity of an 3-4 extra premium scores onfield through my trades across the next two to three weeks is too hard to pass up I think, given no matter whether I held or traded I would end up in the same position come Round 10 both premium/upgrade wise and trade wise.

You won’t be able to reverse that trade mate

You are correct, you could do that with zerrett as the game was postponed

If you trade Hill in and trade him out again, your 1st trade is locked in, can't reverse trade during lockout.

Out Townsend in Hill

Likely Naismith out for Serong

Keep Fyfe most likely. Can target Gaff/premium defender next week and hopefully Pittonett to Gawn the following.

Neale on Hold to come in with GWS in a couple of weeks.

Who did you end up taking out of Saad/Ridley?

Brander to Hill- worth it for the small profit, or a waste of a trade?

Otherwise it's just Noble to Serong for me this week.
I'm leaning to doing it. A bit of cash, get rid of a non-money making rookie, and SHill should have about the best JS of most of these rookie options.

Thinking of making the same trade. Even contemplating doing Bennell to serong given goodwins comments re Bennell
I can see the logic of Pickett > Serong but it is a fairly risky move. Serong may only have a couple of weeks of decent scores until Fyfe comes back, you're only pocketing $30k plus whatever Serong makes in that meantime, but it's not like Pickett is making you any money. Normally I'd say hold your trades, but this year - burn them quickly IMO.

I've just traded Stephen Hill in.
I apologise to other SCS members who have done the same.
I apologise to Fremantle supporters.
I apologise to the Fremantle Football Club.
I apologise to Stephen and his family.

I actually feel quite sick now that I've done it.

How could you!
I think if he gets an injury, it seems the only logical thing for me to do is also ban you from SCS also for the length of his injury :ROFLMAO:
