I actually feel sorry for Lobb. He came to Freo and part of the deal was he would be part of a forward structure. He wanted to be a forward and Freo did not have one. Seemed the perfect match. But he gets sucked into the ruck every year. Not a position he likes playing.
I remember doing a similar analysis near the end of his Port days.
Everyone kept hoping for him to play Mid, but his best scores by far, were where he got 2+ goals, over getting more disposals up the field.
