If all were back, maybe. I can name plenty that should get dropped before Day though.

Expecting Burgoyne will be the only one of them named, think Impey needs at least another week, Scrimshaw likely won't get up either. Jiath may hopefully get a game in a week or two as well, he played his first game back in the same scratch match and apparently looked good.
I wonder if Clarko even listens to all the media talk or will react in any way.

Surely though he can't keep playing 5 talls in defence , need some run and carry and some people who can actually kick the ball forward.

Maybe move Gunston back.

The problem is again the Hawks fwd line, not helped by Bruest and various talls being out atm.

So Freo's high performance manager says Fyfe has a "Big cork on his opposite leg" but the hamstring pulled up good.

Coach Longmuir says Fyfe has "a knock to his shin" but no mention of his hamstring.

Fyfe says "The hamstring probably hasn’t pulled up as well as I would like"

Think they all might want to get together and get their stories straight, lol

Absolutely no consideration for us SuperCoach coaches, ay.

AFL Round 7 Team Tips:
There’s more pain for the Sydney Swans after injuries to two stars.
But Collingwood and West Coast could regain crucial stars for big games.

GEELONG CATS v COLLINGWOOD
Thursday 16 July, 8.10pm at Optus Stadium
PREDICTED CATS 22
B: Jake Kolodjashnij, Mark Blicavs, Jack Henry
HB: Mark O’Connor, Harry Taylor, Jed Bews
C: Brandon Parfitt, Patrick Dangerfield, Cam Guthrie
HF: Zach Tuohy, Esava Ratugolea, Jack Steven
F: James Parsons, Tom Hawkins, Luke Dahlhaus
FOLL: Darcy Fort, Joel Selwood, Sam Menegola
I/C: Gary Ablett, Gary Rohan, Sam Simpson, Gryan Miers
PREDICTED MAGPIES 22
B: Jack Crisp, Jordan Roughead, Matt Scharenberg
HB: Brayden Maynard, Darcy Moore, Isaac Quaynor
C: Tom Phillips, Scott Pendlebury, Will Hoskin-Elliott
HF: Jaidyn Stephenson, Brody Mihocek, Callum Brown
F: Jordan De Goey, Mason Cox, Jamie Elliott
FOLL: Brodie Grundy, Taylor Adams, Adam Treloar
I/C: Travis Varcoe, Rupert Wills, Chris Mayne, Atu Bosenavulagi
Team tips: Given the short turn around between Geelong’s Round 5 and 6 matches, the Cats could be tempted to rest Gary Ablett despite his two goal feats against the Lions. Mitch Duncan and Quinton Narkle are both racing the clock to be fit for the clash after hamstring injuries on Thursday. Out of the pair, Duncan appears the most likely to plead his case. Jack Steven should be a simple inclusion. Jordan De Goey should come straight back in for the Magpies after being managed for the clash in Sydney, with tall Will Kelly (elbow) set to miss the remainder of the season. Flynn Appleby impressed in the club’s practice match and could push for Callum Brown’s spot. Jamie Elliott is expected to play despite finishing the game on the bench.

ESSENDON v WESTERN BULLDOGS
Friday 17 July, 7.50pm at Metricon Stadium
PREDICTED BOMBERS 22
B: Michael Hurley, Cale Hooker, Martin Gleeson
HB: Adam Saad, Jordan Ridley, Mason Redman
C: Brayden Ham, Andrew McGrath, Kyle Langford
HF: Darcy Parish, Jayden Laverde, Orazio Fantasia
F: Anthony McDonald-Tipungwuti, Shaun McKernan, Jacob Townsend
FOLL: Tom Bellchambers, Devon Smith, Zach Merrett
I/C: David Zaharakis, Will Snelling, Ned Cahill, Mitchell Hibberd
PREDICTED BULLDOGS 22
B: Bailey Williams, Alex Keath, Caleb Daniel
HB: Jason Johannisen, Zaine Cordy, Easton Wood
C: Ed Richards, Marcus Bontempelli, Jack Macrae
HF: Bailey Dale, Cody Weightman, Toby McLean
F: Mitch Wallis, Josh Bruce, Rhylee West
FOLL: Tim English, Tom Liberatore, Bailey Smith
I/C: Lachie Hunter, Hayden Crozier, Laitham Vandermeer, Patrick Lipinski
Team tips: Dylan Shiel is all but certain to miss Round 7, despite heading to the tribunal on Tuesday night to contest his charge. The star could be replaced by living forward Ned Cahill who booted five goals in the reserves, while a ruck swap could be on the agenda after a poor performance from Andrew Phillips. After a poor performance against Carlton, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see Luke Beveridge swing the axe. Josh Schache had just two touches against the Blues, which could lead Cody Weightman making his AFL debut. Hayden Crozier could replace first-year player Louis Butler.

GWS GIANTS v BRISBANE LIONS
Saturday 18 July, 1.45pm at Giants Stadium
PREDICTED GIANTS 22
B: Heath Shaw, Lachie Keeffe, Aidan Corr
HB: Lachie Whitfield, Phil Davis, Nick Haynes
C: Harry Perryman, Stephen Coniglio, Josh Kelly
HF: Toby Greene, Jeremy Cameron, Brent Daniels
F: Harry Himmelberg, Jeremy Finlayson, Tom Green
FOLL: Sam Jacobs, Jacob Hopper, Matt de Boer
I/C: Lachie Ash, Callan Ward, Jye Caldwell, Tim Taranto
PREDICTED LIONS 22
B: Ryan Lester, Harris Andrews, Darcy Gardiner
HB: Daniel Rich, Grant Birchall, Brandon Starcevich
C: Mitch Robinson, Dayne Zorko, Hugh McCluggage
HF: Jarrod Berry, Eric Hipwood, Cameron Rayner
F: Zac Bailey, Daniel McStay, Charlie Cameron
FOLL: Oscar McInerney, Jarryd Lyons, Lachie Neale
I/C: Callum Ah Chee, Lincoln McCarthy, Stefan Martin, Alex Witherden
Team tips: After a poor run of form, the Giants are toying with the idea of dropping captain Stephen Coniglio according tofoxfooty.com.au senior reporter Tom Morris. Tim Taranto appears most likely to return, while youngster Jye Caldwell should come into the midfield mix. A ruck change may also be on the cards. Mitch Robinson and Hugh McCluggage both could play against the Giants, despite their injuries against the Cats. Noah Answerth and Alex Witherden could push back into the side, with Tom Berry (seven disposals) in the gun.

SYDNEY SWANS v GOLD COAST SUNS
Saturday 18 July, 4.35pm at SCG
PREDICTED SWANS 22
B: Kaiden Brand, Dane Rampe, Jake Lloyd
HB: Callum Mills, Jordan Dawson, Ryan Clarke
C: Dylan Stephens, Luke Parker, Ollie Florent
HF: George Hewett, Hayden McLean, Nick Blakey
F: Lewis Taylor, Will Hayward, Tom Papley
FOLL: Callum Sinclair, James Rowbottom, Chad Warner
I/C: Ryley Stoddart, Harry Cunningham, Robbie Fox, Tom McCartin
PREDICTED SUNS 22
B: Connor Budarick, Sam Collins, Jack Lukosius
HB: Pearce Hanley, Charlie Ballard, Jarrod Harbrow
C: Lachie Weller, Hugh Greenwood, Brandon Ellis
HF: Noah Anderson, Sam Day, Alex Sexton
F: Izak Rankine, Ben King, Ben Ainsworth
FOLL: Jarrod Witts, David Swallow, Touk Miller
I/C: Jack Bowes, Brayden Fiorini, Nick Holman, Will Brodie
Team tips: Sydney has suffered two major injury blows after Josh Kennedy (six weeks) and Isaac Heeney (season) were ruled out following injuries in their loss to Richmond. It leaves a further strain on the Swans who are without a recognised ruck, especially after Aliir Aliir was remarkably dropped before the match due to poor form. Lewis Taylor appears a certainty to return to the side, while Justin McInerney may be another inclusion. The Swans are hopeful Tom McCartin and Callum Sinclair are available for selection. The Suns have no lingering issues from their loss to Melbourne, with Nick Holman available despite copping a hefty blow. Will Brodie and Jesse Joyce were two of the better Suns in their scratch match against Fremantle.

RICHMOND v NORTH MELBOURNE
Saturday 18 July, 7.40pm at Metricon Stadium
PREDICTED TIGERS 22
B: Nathan Broad, Dylan Grimes, Noah Balta
HB: Jayden Short, Nick Vlastuin, Liam Baker
C: Kamdyn McIntosh, Jack Graham, Josh Caddy
HF: Jake Aarts, Daniel Rioli, Jason Castagna
F: Dustin Martin, Tom Lynch, Jack Riewoldt
FOLL: Ivan Soldo, Jack Ross, Kane Lambert
I/C: Jack Higgins, Derek Eggmolesse-Smith, Mabior Chol, Shai Bolton
PREDICTED KANGAROOS 22
B: Jamie Macmillan, Robbie Tarrant, Shaun Atley
HB: Jasper Pittard, Josh Walker, Luke McDonald
C: Jared Polec, Jy Simpkin, Trent Dumont
HF: Shaun Higgins, Cam Zurhaar, Bailey Scott
F: Tarryn Thomas, Ben Brown, Curtis Taylor
FOLL: Todd Goldstein, Ben Cunnington, Jed Anderson
I/C: Paul Ahern, Jack Mahony, Mason Wood, Aaron Hall
Team tips: Trent Cotchin may return less than a fortnight after hurting his hamstring on the MCG, although the Tigers are likely to be extra cautious after recent injuries over the last few seasons. Marlion Pickett had just one touch in the first half and could be on the chopping block, with Jack Ross and Sydney Stack waiting in the wings. The Roos should regain Jed Anderson after he was a late exclusion on Saturday night, while four goals from Mason Wood should mean he is a straight swap for Tom Campbell, who struggled against the Bombers. Nick Lakey and Luke Davies-Uniacke were managed through their reserves hit out and appear another week away from action. Ben Cunnington could also return after a back niggle kept him out of the loss against Essendon.

CARLTON v PORT ADELAIDE
Sunday 19 July, 1.05pm at Gabba
PREDICTED BLUES 22
B: Sam Docherty, Liam Jones, Lachie Plowman
HB: Tom Williamson, Jacob Weitering, Sam Petrevski-Seton
C: Jack Newnes, Patrick Cripps, Marc Murphy
HF: Sam Walsh, Levi Casboult, Michael Gibbons
F: Will Setterfield, Jack Martin, Eddie Betts
FOLL: Marc PIttonet, David Cunningham, Ed Curnow
I/C: Kade Simpson, Harry McKay, Mitch McGovern, Matt Kennedy
PREDICTED POWER 22
B: Ryan Burton, Trent McKenzie, Dan Houston
HB: Hamish Hartlett, Tom Jonas, Darcy Byrne-Jones
C: Justin Westhoff, Ollie Wines, Karl Amon
HF: Sam Mayes, Todd Marshall, Connor Rozee
F: Zak Butters, Charlie Dixon, Robbie Gray
FOLL: Scott Lycett, Sam Powell-Pepper, Travis Boak
I/C: Steven Motlop, Tom Clurey, Kane Farrell, Xavier Duursma
Team tips: Carlton will be hopeful scans clear midfielders Marc Murphy and Patrick Cripps from any issues after the win over the Western Bulldogs. Jack Silvagni is likely to be available for selection, but David Teague may want to take an unchanged team into the clash over the Power. Port is likely to have a number of changes after Cam Sutcliffe hurt his hamstring in the win over the Giants, while Brad Ebert has been suspended for one week. Steven Motlop will be monitored after concussion, with Xavier Duursma (hamstring) pushing to return at the Gabba. Tom Rockliff may again be forced to sit out of the side given Port won the contested possession and clearances count.

HAWTHORN v MELBOURNE
Sunday 19 July, 3.35pm at Giants Stadium
PREDICTED HAWKS 22
B: Sam Frost, James Frawley, Ben Stratton
HB: Blake Hardwick, Ben McEvoy, James Sicily
C: Ricky Henderson, James Worpel, Isaac Smith
HF: Josh Morris, Tim O’Brien, Chad Wingard
F: Jack Gunston, Shaun Burgouyne, Paul Puopolo
FOLL: Jon Ceglar, Liam Shiels, Tom Mitchell
I/C: Jaeger O’Meara, Will Day, Harry Morrison, Tom Scully
PREDICTED DEMONS 22
B: Jay Lockhart, Steven May, Oscar McDonald
HB: Christian Salem, Jake Lever, Michael Hibberd
C: Ed Langdon, Clayton Oliver, Aaron vandenBerg
HF: Mitch Hannan, Sam Weideman, Angus Brayshaw
F: Jake Melksham, Tom McDonald, Harley Bennell
FOLL: Max Gawn, Christian Petracca, Jack Viney
I/C: James Harmes, Bayley Fritsch, Kysaiah Pickett, Neville Jetta
Team tips: Shaun Burgoyne will come back into the side after being rested for the Collingwood clash, but Jon Patton (hamstring) is all but certain to miss the next month of action. Jarman Impey returned from a long injury lay-off and will need some more time in the reserves. The Demons will make a call on Tom McDonald later in the week after he suffered an eye injury against Gold Coast. If McDonald is passed fit, the Demons could remain unchanged, leaving Adam Tomlinson on the sidelines again.

FREMANTLE v WEST COAST EAGLES
Sunday 19 July, 6.35pm at Optus Stadium
PREDICTED DOCKERS 22
B: Stephen Hill, Brennan Cox Ethan Hughes
HB: Nathan Wilson, Luke Ryan, Taylin Duman
C: Darcy Tucker, Nat Fyfe, James Aish
HF: Adam Cerra, Rory Lobb, Bailey Banfield
F: Travis Colyer, Matt Taberner, Michael Walters
FOLL: Sean Darcy, David Mundy, Andrew Brayshaw
I/C: Brett Bewley, Caleb Serong, Lachie Schultz, Blake Acres
PREDICTED EAGLES 22
B: Shannon Hurn, Tom Barrass, Brad Sheppard
HB: Tom Cole, Jeremy McGovern, Liam Duggan
C: Andrew Gaff Elliot Yeo, Jamie Cripps
HF: Jake Waterman, Jack Darling, Jack Redden
F: Liam Ryan, Josh Kennedy, Jarrod Cameron
FOLL: Nic Naitanui, Tim Kelly, Dom Sheed
I/C: Oscar Allen, Jackson Nelson, Brendon Ah Chee, Luke Shuey
Team tips: Fremantle will likely make a call on Sean Darcy (concussion) late in the week after he copped a big knock from Saint Ben Long. Young gun Hayden Young (ankle) appears most likely to miss at least one match, with late exclusion Brennan Cox almost certain to return. If Darcy isn’t fit, Lloyd Meek would be the obvious inclusion. Griffin Logue and Sam Sturt appear more likely for Round 8. The Eagles are hopeful Luke Shuey is available for selection after missing Round 7 due to a hamstring injury, but he is a far from certain starter.

ADELAIDE CROWS v ST KILDA
Monday 20 July, 7.40pm at Adelaide Oval
PREDICTED CROWS 22
B: Luke Brown, Daniel Talia, Kyle Hartigan
HB: Rory Laird, Fischer McAsey, Will Hamill
C: Myles Poholke, Matt Crouch, Brodie Smith
HF: Chayce Jones, Billy Frampton, Tom Lynch
F: Tyson Stengle, Taylor Walker, Ned McHenry
FOLL: Reilly O’Brien, Brad Crouch, Ben Keays
I/C: Jake Kelly, Paul Seedsman, Andrew McPherson, Tom Doedee
PREDICTED SAINTS 22
B: Nick Coffield, Callum Wilkie, Jake Carlisle
HB: Jimmy Webster, Dougal Howard, Jarryn Geary
C: Bradley Hill, Hunter Clark, Jack Billings
HF: Dan Butler, Max King, Jade Gresham
F: Dean Kent, Tim Membrey, Josh Battle
FOLL: Rowan Marshall, Jack Steele, Seb Ross
I/C: Zak Jones, Ryan Byrnes, Jack Lonie, Paddy Ryder
Team tips: The Crows will be without captain Rory Sloane after he fractured his hand in the loss to West Coast. Taylor Walker could return after a knee issue, while Myles Poholke and Paul Seedsman are in the mix to play. Shane McAdam limped off late and appears to be in doubt for Round 7. Ben Long appears set for a long break after being sent to the tribunal for a big bump on Docker Sean Darcy. It could pave the way for St Kilda to hand a debut to youngster Ryan Byrnes, while Jimmy Webster and Paddy Ryder appear in the mix. A quiet game good see Jon Marsh come out of the side.

WOW is that all! He really flew under the radar.

And to think he was my first picked too. Am I gloating? Just a little?
He was one of many mid-priced players I considered, I chose others and got burned. Short with just over 5K selections in R1 was probably my best mid-price R1 pick, not quite to the extent of Simpkin though, but still +100K and averaging mid 90's.
