There are new rookies getting named this named this week, so no need to get all wound up doing a double downgrade IMO. 1up and 1 down, and get rookies off the field, that is my priority.

Anyone interested in Zorko as a trade in this or next week?

Under 500k, good history, and looks like lions could be playing the majority of their games remaining in Queensland. Pod at 1.3%. In a short season could be a handy M8.

Or too much of an injury risk?

BE 122 , might be worth seeing if he can string some games together , Achilles/calf issues could be troublesome

Bit stuck this week re trades.
Preferred trade outs leaves me with probable donut in defence. Other option is to trade out Taylor, but hesitant to do so if named.
Any other options look viable? My M/F keepers have slowly migrated to my mids over last few weeks and struggling to get them home.

I’d consider your upgrade target for following week. With any of the above options it looks like you might then want to bring two of Whitfield, Simpkin, Gresham onto forward next week to get the number of your infield forward rookies down?

Alternatively you could move Taylor for Rankine this week. And then grab Simpson Fir Young (via DPP) or Day/McPherson for Starz if your worried he’s losing cash.

Alternative suggestion:
As you are no doubt aware you have a lot of forwards and not many midfielders....why not try something like Young to either of Simpson or Day (via rivers if Simpson) and TJL to whatever premium mid you can afford (Danger or Macrae I think are possibilities?) via moving one of your DPP forwards to the forward line?

Too much of an injury risk for me, plenty of cheap mids going round (all of WC, Bont, Danger)

So the 2 next week to ship out from forwards would be Taylor and Lynch?

yeah its a difficult decision.

If you really want Rankine i'd probably just go with Young to Simpson and Taylor to Rankine.

Then look at bringing those F/M forward over the coming weeks

With 6 clubs to be given byes in rounds 9 to 12 it has made my mind up on trades for this week.

I was considering 1 up and 1 down but will now go 2 down so my 2 up next week can factor in the teams that are having byes round 9 to 12 (unless the round 9 to 12 fixture is released this week)

Was all set on Ceglar > Rankine and Starcevich > Simpson but I’m getting very tempted to pass on Simpson and do Pittonet > Gawn instead.

Very hard to be patient with so much cash in the bank and no solid captaincy shouts outside of Grundy (I ended up with Doc C last Sunday night)

This is now annoying not knowing the fixture. There are four teams where I have three players. If two of those teams share a bye that will be at least six players out.

I might need to think about getting back to no more than two players from any team ... and also making sure those two players are not on one line!
