I know houli opted not to travel with the team, and since they left we are obviously locked down.

Anyone have any thoughts on if/ when he will return??

You'd have to assume there's at least a 14 day quarantine for when he decides to leave for the hub, so tack that on to however long the original hub was meant to be.

I was more so referring to the fact we won't even know the squads for the Monday teams when the Thursday game kicks off, let alone the final 22's.

Can easily see people getting burned by not having a clue who is in the squad for the Monday game when the rounds tips off on a Thursday.

I did understand my point was that we won’t have any idea of squads when rounds kick off on any night of the week as rounds won’t be packed into 3-4 days. Ie a round may be single games Tuesday-Friday and 5 games on a Saturday. Squads for Saturday (10 teams) could be named on Thursday so wouldn’t be known until the 3rd game is about to be played that 4-5 players are rested. A single lagging game is less of a risk in my opinion and can be partially managed by holding trades until the Saturday night or Sunday games are set to start.

All part of the fun of Season 2020 and obviously a mix of luck and playing the odds will help to ride it out.

Interesting ... although I didn't post about it when this concept crossed my mind (bringing back in some bye rounds) a few weeks ago it has still been a lingering thought ...

Not sure how to deal with it Fantasy wise yet though (until the teams are named) ... but initial thoughts are that bench depth will be severely tested and might need to save some trades ...

So basically two teams having a bye per round. Looks like we will be back to best 18 in two rounds.

Might pay to actually wait until the Round 9-12 fixture is announced next week before prematurely jumping the gun.

Who knows VS might even factor in additional trades.

I was under the impression he had a close family member very ill with Covid 19 so if that is the case I would not think he would be going anywhere soon.

His mother was in ICU when I posted about it the other day , haven't got a update.
