How can both of these be true: If I trade in Simpson instead of a premo, he'll get dropped next week. If I trade in a premo instead of Simpson, Simpson will score 154 and my premo will get injured..
I think his JS is probably pretty good, which would make him 3rd for me behind Rankine & McPherson. Simpson & Day both look good but their JS is terrible. This week with all the uncertainty around fixtures and format, now requires an ultra conservative mindset IMO, 1up 1 down and only get Rankine.
No talk of Yeo being a trade in target - has everyone got him last week or is he still appealing?
My thoughts are that there are other rookies debuting this round so one up / one down seems a reasonable strategy - however I do have Rankine from the beginning so that helps.

I think a fair few got on last week, but still looks to be a solid trade in.
I’ve gone the same way with my trade strategy, but don’t have any of the rookies on the bubble. Just don’t trust the job security of Simpson/Day enough to go without another premo this week.

Yeo also has a depleted Freo this week, and no Fyfe should mean he 100% hunts his own ball rather than one of those run with type roles he has done in the past on players like Fyfe.

The 2 issues that are now bothering me after the AFL's announcement are:
1. No visibility of the compressed schedule and byes so planning ahead is super tricky
2. The need to now have warm bodies and cut deadwood by wasting trades (looking at you Darcy Cameron)
Because of number 1 we should be controlling what we can to an extent which is number 2. Squad rotation can’t be picked ahead of time but any injured rookies will have to be traded out ahead of the byes.
There was some talk about fixtures Possibly coming out tomorrow. If so then it might be worth conserving trades, but with T Brown and Simpson playing tonight it is a big gamble not to proceed if it turns out the fixture gets released next week.
