I’d still probably avoid. It’s the time of season to be getting close to full premos rather than looking for cheaper options.
Thanks. Will likely be priced at $220,000 and could be good dual position coverage if injuries strike in the latter half of the season.

1414 this week, same as last week, C Teddy, Lucy, SJ, Cleary, Best, Tapau all awesome results. Into the top 1% and within reach of the overall goal of top 1000. Brought in Munster and Fermor for drinky and arrow.

Lots to consider this week.

Gutho is definately out, done his job perfectly with moses back now, possibly down to Ponga but I'm not sold on him just yet, dogs this week will be hard to watch but storm next week it could even out to be a wait, be interesting to see if staines is considered for panthers with edwards and whare in doubt.

Would like to finally get nofo but probably the wrong game to bring him in, or maybe scrichton but I don't see him as a keeper, if scrichton named fullback though will be hard to resist v titans purley on a points basis.

Need to also seriously considers api to smith / cook. Api got a good opponent game but in theory he also did last week too, wondering if they start looking to resting him a bit?

Lets see what TLT delivers today.

I got Taupau 2 weeks ago and that's worked well at that price i got him, but I'm not sure he's still a buy now, 90 with a try last week but still only 49 mins, I expected his minutes to go up without AFB who is back this week. I'll be looking to upgrade him once he peaks. Your FRF is solid. As a dogs fan i was fuming Averillo was not selected last week and based on the 2 centres pretty much loosing us the game I would expect he must come back in this week, even though we just bought Lafai from dragons as well. i'm selling Coates this week I think hes peaked and v storm could pull out a 10 unless he jags a couple of trys. Look for TLT as Staines could be brought back into Panthers and if he then also plays next week could make a huge packed of $

Solidifying your 2RF could be a different option to Marty, I'm really into Jazz Tevega if hes named to start, which he should be now, great price and SC powerhouse.

I'd prefer having Ponga out of those choices, and have looked at getting him this round also, although I'm with @Sideshow Bob about him. If it wasn't for the two low scoring rounds he's in 100%. We're those rounds just hiccups??

Api > CS9 is locked in

Second trade possibly

Fui > nuff leaves $90k ITB - Fui is bleeding cash.

Gutho > Ponga leaves about $230k ITB + Ponga playing dogs, leaves plenty cash for two trades next round of Nofo & Cook?

Gutho > Nofo via Fidow leaves $146k ITB

The last two trades would mean losing two rounds of Fui's cash which I can live with but using the VC loop could be an issue if he comes in with another 10.

Or, instead of Gutho out, I could swap ACrichton for JPapalii, leaving $22k and see how Gutho goes with Moses being back. Give Ponga another round? Could still get Ponga and Nofo, Tigers play Warriors.

My line of thinking is
R11 CS9
R12 Nofo
R13 Cook
R14 Papalii
R15 Harris

Whats your thoughts?

Averillo is back in.

If Bateman comes into Raiders 17, is an auto buy, or wait and see? Thinking who/when to trade out ACrichton. edited

Very much the same boat as you, Fui is a big AE issue, 1 week reprieve this week with sims suspension, hes stuck at 2RF for me so is a difficult offload as I dont have any CTW strength to move Yeo up, hes such a small cash down hes not worth it but the points is the issue and he has to go soon, for the short term I will be putting the C straight on Teddy next 2 weeks at least (v warriors and titans) so VC loop isn't an issue.

Api now out changes the week now, i was already looking at Api to Smith and decided to wait till next week so i'll do that now, which I think will be a very popular trade. Cook is tempting but the $50k discount for smith and playing the broncos which could be a deadset cricket score is too hard to pass, although the risk is their smith gets a rest. Cook will be a pod but doesn't have the forward pack that made him essential last year, but if grants minutes start to drop then Cook comes in.

Missing Nofo this week pricewise isn't a big deal but my CTW is weak, it means I have to play JTF (or Coates but no) in CTW and probably lose cash on coates.

Or as you say Gutho to Nofo instead of Ponga a possible. If i dont get Ponga this week I certainly don't get him for storm next week and the gutho move is wasted, nofo BE 70 in whats going to be a very tough defensive thursday night game.

I am purely hunting points, the decision is who scores more nofo and 1 of lucy / rudolph or ponga and JTF

what Im ballparking is

nofo 50-70
lucy/rudolph 50

ponga 100+
JTF 30

However next week it will be pretty much the opposite for nofo and ponga after they both systematically dismantle my poor dogs, but at least I then hopefully own both.

Ponga it is at this stage, leaves me $263K ITB and very very possible to being able to do coates / fui to nofo / rapana next week although now that Jazz has been named to start lock I may skip rapana and prioritise that next week, he's bloody tops!

Yay for averillo, yet we still keep the 2 other duds in the team anyway lol, he should hold the spot just bad luck with the HIA then covid issue.

Def have to hold off and have a look at Bateman for at least the first week back, however hes named and knowing stuart there is every chance he starts and plays 80, the guy is a machine, but has no match fitness, could be a great Pod if you reserve a way in for him next few weeks, I'll be watching...

Don't have Angus but if I did I go him to Jazz in a heartbeat this week or next, I couldn't see holding Angus as 3-4 weeks is sounding a long enough time off that he may not start back at 80mins straight away, otherwise there isn't alot screaming must buy in 2RF, I guess that's where Bateman comes in

I think the Gutho to Ponga move is the way too. It provides the better options overall moving forward. The cash injection (236k) allows me a Grant and Luai to Cook and SJ next week. Nofo will have to wait. I want him but I think I want SJ (playing Broncos R12, titans rd14), and Cook (dragons R12, broncos r13, cowboys r14) more than Nofo (warriors R12, knights r13).
But hope to work cash out to bring him in rd13/14, with Papalii/Bateman at same time.

So many things I should've done many rounds ago.

I really don't think Nofo is a must, expecially with the draw beyond r14 if I can can get him next week great but its not critical, agree ponga, smith, cook, SJ are all ahead of him. Outside of Yeo I dont think any CTW are critical, such a unique year with the foundation of 2RF is almost irrevant and with CTW a coin toss all the points are being made in the massive ceilings of fullback and halves with cook / smith now showing they a level above api / grant

Tevaga + smith in for katoa and koroisau. Had 250k leftover so was able to afford both upgrades this week.

Hopefully grab Asi next week for Kennedy and then upgrade either Tom Burgess to top tier FRF or Luai to Munster as my 2nd reserve option. Tracking well, just need some luck with captaincy.
