Big bash fantasy have opened up today.

Back again to defend my title and hopefully go even closer to the overall this year. Still cursing the VC loophole which I selected Alex Keath as C to take a huge Shaun Marsh score as VC, only to see Keath play his one and only game for the tournament!!

Having a look at the player prices I see there are a few youngsters that should get games who are cheap. Got a few weeks to tinker which will be fun.

Brain hurts..in Sportal EPL, Test Cricket , Dream Team NBL. Having a go at trading frustrations ahead of SC. Enough for me!!
Having said that, it is good practice for the real thing, the subject of this site, what we are suckers for.

Yeah it is disappointing how you can only have 8 in a league, if you guys can't (but I'm sure you will) fill the second league then I would happy join to make up the numbers.

$6,000 prize for best performing league, with prize money to be divided equally amongst all 8 league participants - now there's a worthy challenge for us during the Super Coach hiatus !!

I think David Hussey could be great value again, with no more Warney, he'll get more of a bowl again you'd think.

I'm in, but got to be honest, I have no idea. Didn't realize there was big money up for leagues.
Have got to local blokes locked in, Finchy and Tim Ludeman. May need some advice for other selections.

Definitely have Finchy, but maybe look to get a keeper that opens or bats in the top 3 or 4 for there side otherwise you are only going to really get points from catches and miss out on run that other keepers such as Wade and Paine will score.

I'm in, Marsh usually does really well in the big bash so he is not bad for a starting spot but there are more cheaper options this time around which is good

After movng house time for me to catch up on all things Cricket and Footy.
First thing I'm doing is giving this Big Bash a go for the summer. Joined the 2nd league here and look forward to learning more about it and figuring out whom will actually play regularly to be of use in this type of fantasy cricket game. I'll learn from the master from down West... Mr Goodies He is the guy we got to all beat

Enjoyed seeing a bit of the first Test and the fallout out from 1st Test. Hopefully we are smart and rest one or both of Johnson and Harris if we can for this Test.
Johnson really took on board the enforcer role well and Poms did not like it one bit. The fall out from sledge fest amuses me too. Got to play this Test series hard and don't mind the mental wars too but Warner in not shrewd at it but the over the top complaints from some Poms and Flower is somewhat funny to watch on.
If I was Aussies I would not let up on them but don't follow Warner's lead as he is a man of his own crazy style on twitter and media in general. He lives and dies by the sword and bat and mouth and keyboard...lol

Without having looked at the prices of each of these players, I must say that looks a handy side.
Personally I'm not sold on Ahmed, a. getting a game behind Murali, & b. taking wickets.
Katich is playing, I know the Strikers generally play a lot of spinners, and Michael Beer from the Scorchers always seems to go pretty well in these T20 comps.

I haven't really put too much time yet into my side, will wait another week until school is finished and we are a little bit closer to the first round.
