Do you reckon Doedee our helps Laird at all? Or just a manageable price/Crows player?
Laird looking a lot better now that the coach is playing him in his best position across half back.
Also a huge positive is that he isn't getting stuck on the bench for huge amounts of time (due to lack of goals) like in that first term where he got stuck there for 8mins+.

Was this a forced change due to Doedee’s injury? Feel like they had to move a tall to CHB and laird was then free to roam across half back.

Thanks mate - I’ve had him as an upgrade target all year, but recently chopped him given the role issue. Comes back into the frame if Doedee will miss next week.

I’ll take your word for it, haven’t really paid attention to the game as much as I normally would due to being frustrated by Smith of the Devon variety.
If anything I think McPherson has benefited the most from Doedee going down in that third term, his score and disposals seem to have motored along.

ok - I had Doedee as E and Starc in the mids loopholed with Rivers so I could c Rivers without having to take Buderick over Simpson or Bennell. Looks like now, I will take Buderick if Grundy goes big with a VC score. Have to take Starc over Doedee, right?

Smith though... OMG

Starcevich against Melbourne who are generally the most generous in gifting points to opposition defenders. Unless Andrews and Gardiner steal all of the intercept marks, I can see Starc getting minimum 50 this week.
