Saunders has a statement on Crouch & Doedee on their website

Tom Doedee
"Tom reported a gradual onset of hamstring symptoms following a heavy fall onto his left hip in the second quarter.
"While he was still functioning at a very high level with low-level symptoms, after careful consideration, Tom was removed from play.
"He will also have scans tomorrow and be reviewed by the medical team."

Regarding a time frame for both players, Saunders said:

"All clinical indications are that these are on the low end of the spectrum and will not result in significant time loss for either player."

Would you bring in Stewart? Still big question marks.

RETURNING CAT TO PLAY WITH PLATE

Tom Stewart will help injury-hit Geelong take on Fremantle with a titanium plate protecting a collarbone broken in three places by a Tom McDonald bump.

The Cats will play a Fremantle side building in momentum, aware of the potential for an upset despite Nathan Fyfe’s absence with a recurring hamstring strain.

Geelong has been forced into six changes, with stars Joel Selwood (hamstring), Gary Ablett (personal reasons) and Luke Dahlhaus (foot) out.

Jack Steven has been rested again despite an 11-day break, while Darcy Fort (foot) and Jordan Clark (shoulder) are also unavailable.

Stewart has been missing since the Round 4 win over Melbourne, where Tom McDonald’s bump behind play saw Stewart’s collarbone snap.

But the titanium plate holding his collarbone together will ensure the shoulder is structurally sound to take on Fremantle’s forwards.

Mitch Duncan is ready to return for a Geelong side that will on Tuesday fly to a Gold Coast hub where the Cats will play four games in 13 days.

Geelong coach Chris Scott says Fyfe’s absence will again give the Dockers young stars and experience matchwinners another chance to shine.

Damn wish we knew this when it was first an issue. Would’ve been a straight swap for Whitfield.
I watched him all game, he moved fine and was around the ball alot, but it just never made into his hands. Even worse it got to him after a free kick was paid, negating the possession. He's driving me mad, but I am going to hold and keeping moving on rookies, until he's dropped.

Fearless Swan could still play after broken-hand heroics against Hawks

FEARLESS Sydney co-captain Dane Rampe remains a chance to tackle St Kilda this week, just seven days after nursing a fractured hand through the Swans' nailbiting win over Hawthorn.

Scans on Sunday confirmed Rampe sustained the injury to his right hand in the second quarter before he continued on with it heavily strapped.

He will undergo surgery on Monday.

COLLINGWOOD is bracing to be without captain Scott Pendlebury for up to four matches after scans revealed he had suffered a quad strain in Sunday's warm-up against West Coast.
Pendlebury was removed from the Pies' line-up less than five minutes before the 66-point loss to the Eagles after complaining of tightness in his quad.

The Pies have a seven-day break before facing Fremantle which will be the first of four games inside a 14-day window.
The final game of their next block – round 12 against Melbourne – will fall on August 15 and is 20 days after his injury on Sunday.

"It was my last kick for the warm-up session, I just felt a little pinch in my quad and had scans this morning and there's a little strain there," Pendlebury told collingwoodfc.com.au on Monday.
"I'll probably miss the next couple of games which is unfortunate.
"I think we made the right call not to play. If there's a little strain there and you continue to play or try and play through that, it might rip into something far more significant."

Wow, huge loss
