Oliver and Zerrett make sanse (they're both on my shortlist), but for some reason I just don't love either one.
I didn't like/trust Ridley either, but got him in this week despite having to pay a premium for him compared to others. Oliver & Zerrett are both 'young' types so have the best chance of playing through this next phase, on top of both being BYE-free. I'm trying to put aside who I would like with regards to my upgrades and instead thinking more along the line of who will 'best' help my team to navigate through the upcoming fixture with the focus of minimising on-field Rookies as part of the 18.

I don't know if there's a right or wrong answer...I've just defaulted to that strategy with the information at hand for now.

I've had both since the start of the season.
Pleased that they are putting up some good scores, but Zerrett has been a bit patchy

Who does MDB go to in R10?
Assuming Shiel would be back by then so potentially Zerrett will not be affected?
Good question re MDB, Greenwood or Miller are the 2 guys getting their hands on the pill frequently, but for mine Miller uses it better so maybe him? Swallow and Weller also candidates for a shut down player.

Lloyd will only increase by 14k if he scores 116 this week. Hardly life or death.
True. But that's only half the problem... Copping 30s and 40s from Starc and McAsey every week is killing my scores. Getting Lloyd and Stewart over the next 2 weeks solves this problem; while I still have solid rookie scorers like Simpson and Hibberd in the middle

Think I am going to go :-

Doedee/ Brander/ McInereny > McPherson/ Close/ Oliver

I have Whitfield/ B Smith & Simpkin in my mids so having Close with his DP is very handy over the byes for the flexibility.

Means I will have 8 players from the dees & bombers who have already had their bye :-
Gawn/ Petracca/Viney/Oliver/Bennell/ Rivers/Ridley/ Devon Smith

Anyone looking at Ben McKay from the Roos? Harry's identical twin. Has scored an 86 and a 70. Will be similarly priced to McPherson I believe.
I grabbed him this week mate. I think he plays every game for us from here on, unfortunately I think Jmac's time is up. Previous years he has always seemed to fumble under pressure, two grab marks. He looks a different player this year

Probably been mentioned, but if we trade out deadwood rookies, ie McInerney, Green, Brander, Rivers, etc, could it happen over the next 3 rounds they make a come back due to resting over the busy schedule. I suppose we don't have a crystal ball, but something to think about.

If you had to pick 2 out of:

Oliver, Petracca, Merrett, Zorko

Who would it be?
I take Oliver out of those 4, then Petracca, never had the other two in my team since playing, wouldn’t my getting the 2 Melbourne players into my team at some stage
Cripps to Oliver, when Carlton have the bye
