Choice 1 bring in MaCrea for green and have no bench in defence but finish my midfield.
Choice 2 bring in Lloyd for Brander and have a rookie on the bench in defence and play Mitch

How much will Close be if he scores :-

45
55
65

say against the Eagles ?

The fixture actually allows me to wait until Saturday to do my 3 trades , so if I don't have a Wed - Fri debutante I don't like , might delay Close for a week.

Cheers
45 - $142,000
55 - $146,400
65 - $150,800

FYI - Use the following formula to find approximate pricing for your player of interest...

New Price = Current Price + (SC - BE) * 440
where SC is the projected score for the round.

McInerney > Close
Hill > Ling
Williamson/Brander > Daniel

Considering Hurn but he screams restings to me through the condensed fixtures. Not sure I trust the old workhorse.

Eyeing off Tom Stewart for a cheap D6 in a couple of weeks.
West Coast have 3 games in 21 days , not sure their fixtures are actually condensed.

As for Round 13 onwards who knows what will happen.

Awesome , see who (if anyone) presents in the first 5 games then can make a decision on whether to grab E Taylor or Close this round.

Looks like I will need a new rookie in Round 10 to be able to get Duncan & Stewart , unless Brander & McInerney reappear in Round 9 and play and hit their BE.

Hey guys I have 2 options and want an option.
Option 1. Bring MaCrea in for Green and have no bench in defence but have a finished midfield.
Option 2. Bring Lloyd in for Brander and have a rookie on the bench and play Mith Hibbard in defence.

Hey mate, welcome.
Hard to give proper advice without knowing what the rest of your team looks like.
I assume you mean playing Mitchell Hibberd in mids?

There are whispers that Brander could be back this week, might be worth waiting on teams if you can before pulling the trigger.
If he was named, I'd trade in Macrae to finish off mids and hold Brander from those options.

Thats the way I was leaning and if there is whispers about brander that will make my choice easier. Teams r due the night before games over the next few rounds arnt they

Hoping to learn more about Doedee ASAP, as I really don't want to have to trade him out.

Even though I'll have a decimated DEF line this week if he (and Hill) miss, I don't think I can justify trading Doedee out (say, for Hurn), just to save 1 week, only for Hurn to then have his BYE next week.

Thoughts?
Agree. I am considering holding a Doedee this round and trading him next if info at that time dictates it. Fortunately I have cash in the bank so I wouldn’t need his cash this week to get (say) Hurn as cover.

Considering viewing Hurn and Doedee as luxury upgrades to Lloyd once I have all rookies off field - remove the worst of the two in several rounds time, eg.

OK I'm leaning back towards:

R9: Smith/Sloane/Taylor to Oliver/Close/Geo
R10: Sturt/Serong/Noble to Dusty/Duncan/Stewart
R11: Rookie to Simpkin
R12: Rookie to Cripps (?)
I understand that both are on their BYE, however, Sturt & Serong still have cash generation potential to come.

A player that’s got me curious as a non-owner is Cripps.

Down to 478k, BE 128, bye in round 10, and over 50% ownership.

Given his pedigree, is he a massive target for round 11 for non-owners? Or given the high ownership and current performance, the perfect player to avoid?

As a Cripps owner, I feel strongly right now that it is a good POD to NOT own Cripps.

I'm an owner. If I wasn't, I would want to see one good score from him and then would be all over him.

Think he's too good a player to stay down.
