I should be happy but I’m not. I had Picket and Aarts on bench with E. When I checked scores I had no Es. I must have accidentally cleared them before lockout!!!!!! I could have been 6/703 with two rookies played but now I am at risk of donuts!

That sucks. Have made the same mistake before.

No Pickett or Aarts but good results.

Dusty and Macrae make for a very good start to the week.
No clue how Bont got a 96 but I'll take it.
BSmith a bit disappointing, but most still playing would have him now I'd think.

4/518.

Just Maxy VC tonight.
Is a 200 for Max and not many points for his midfield mates too much too ask?

Played: J Macrae (C), M Pickett and B Smith

It was between B Smith and D Martin to replace J McInerney to occupy a mid spot until I trade 1 of my F4-F6 (D Smith, C Rozee and I Rankine) and low and behold I made the wrong decision as usual.

452/3.

I was going to trade three times, sell the farm and bring in Smith (Dogs) this round. Got scared about 3 mins before lockout and reversed my trades. Glad I did now looking at his score!

Now I have a good start to the round and three trades in hand
(note - one of these factors was out of my control, can you guess which one...)

Ahhh feels so good to be back, felt like a part of me was lost without SCS!

Not sure if anyone posted this but Bennell will be managed for tonight's game and will miss so don't get caught out.

4/528 with Aarts (E) in case anybody in my forward line misses.

It sounds like you made the least right decision, hardly a wrong one!

EDIT: I read this wrong- too early in the morning for me.. thought it had been a choice between Macrae and Martin which I thought was being a bit harsh to judge Macrae as the wrong choice... yes I can understand why B Smith has not met expectations!

I blame Noble. If he hadn't completely spudded with a 40 last week I'd have traded in Dusty instead of a premium defender . Guess he will only be 500k ish next week so may as well still bring him in.

Pickett is the gift that keeps on giving... for those that held him (I still have McInerny, hoping and hoping).

While talking with @7/11 he told me he felt like Dusty was in for a big game. Given my confidence in Gawn as captain to deliver a big score and our record of recommending VC/C selections to each other only to back out and then watch them score well(mostly in BBL SC but sometimes in AFL SC), I decided to take the punt on Dusty as VC. Unfortunately and understandably he didn't do the same. I hope that his captaincy choice does well also because this has helped me get off to a flyer.
