I thought live it was sliding down, you can see from the way Hadds reacted he thought it was too. The problem is that 9/10 times that sort of shout would go with the umpires call so you can understand their hesitation.

Absolutely, either way was justified but can't really agonise over it. Hopefully we keep bowling well and it won't matter!

I'm sure Craig McDermott has helped out as bowling coach too.
Poms completed rattled by how he has bowled at them.
Could not have come at better time when so many of our younger pace bowlers working through injuries.

No real surprise there, would have been unusual to say the least to go in with 5 seamers and no frontline spinner! The only other change they could have possibly made was Hughes in for Rogers but he has done enough to hold his spot for now.

Good to see Hughes making some big runs in the Shield. My thinking, and I saw this written somewhere the other day was that Rogers holds his spot for the Ashes, and most likely the tour of South Africa (against the top quicks in Styen and co.) then that will be the end for him and we build a new opening partnership for hopefully the next 8-10 years.
