As a Crows man do you see Schoenberg getting consistent games? I'm looking at similar ins but I'm leaning towards Walker up forward instead of Scho

He's referring to Will Walker from North, not Taylor.

I'm happy to pay a premium for Tobe Watson after a price rise, but I'm not willing to spend 150k+ on a 2nd rookie - ruling Will Walker out for me.

Is Schoenberg the best of the cheaper rookies this week?

The $ should work out on these moves for me. Still kinda into the idea of selling Gawn should Draper look the business tho.

Gawn will be 725k with a BE of 240 and we now know there's a tear/issue there. I would have moved him last week had we known the results of scan.

Surprised for the lack of love for Shuey this week:

- Take out injury-affected 33 in R5, and he's averaging 110.5 from his other 6 games
- Already had his BYE
- B/E of only 45 (only played 2 games since injury game, scored 130 and 116)
- Oh yeah, and he's only $488k!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Am I missing something?

Depends on who you are targeting but shouldn't you be able to do

Rankine - > Rookie
Noble - > Premium
Simpson - > Premium

appears to plenty of viable options in the $ 450-500k bracket

I need Rankine to go up $2,800 for this to work. His BE was 76 and he scored 83 - please someone tell me this is enough for a $2.8k price rise??

He doesn't go over 120 much and Cripps , Bont, Gaff are probably better options.

I suspect he is not "brand" name enough for some.

Will be gladly welcoming him to my team although that will mean I will then likely have 4 Weagles players 😀

 

[The Myth]

Outside of Pickett, Rankine and Georgiadas my rookie situation is dire. Problem is I’ve got the 3 mentioned + Williamson on field. Only 11 trades and 47k itb.

Need to look for value, and a player that has had their bye. Cripps looks to be the best option that fits that mould.

Bennell/McHenry to Schoenberg
Pickett to Cripps

Then decide if Williamson to Watson is worth it.

Will then do whatever I can to get a D6 in round 12 (hopefully Zac Williams) leaving Rankine/Georgiadas as my only rookies on field.

Leaves with Draper R2, Houston D6, Cripps M8, Dev F6.

No Grundy, Gawn or Neale but will chase in the coming rounds

I just wonder with 8 rounds to go (3-4 of which will probably be Best 18 rounds) whether instead of trying to fork out top dollar for a 100 + player in D & F , it might be worthwhile aiming a bit lower for a 90+ player , only 10 points difference per game.

Similar to when looking at 110 mids their might be better value in going for a 100 point player.

I guess it depends on how we structure our teams moving forward from now and try and target players from the 8 teams that would have had their bye (obviously no guarantee they still don't get managed/rested on the run home)

Might not actually need the D6 & F6 scoring in Best 18 rounds.

Hope that kinda makes sense.
