I quite like Adams, especially if you don't have Titch, but I'd weigh up whether this is worth a trade. It is "only" a concussion, meaning Viney will likely be back for the next game, and Adams still has a bye to go.

Best 18 this week also means it's less if an impact if a premo misses.

My thinking is that the bye advantage for Viney is effectively cancelled out now that he is out this week so we can take that out of the equation.

Would that change you thinking?

can you help me out then
option 1 gawn to Draper, 2 mid rookies to t.adams and macrae
option 2 gawn to goldie, rookie to rookie, mid rookie adams or macrae
option 3 gawn to big o, rookie to macrae/Adams
option 2 gawn to goldie, rookie to rookie, mid rookie adams or macrae

Goldie, Rookie and Macrae would seem the best of those 3 for me.

In a sense that was what I was thinking as well ... ie if you're trading Viney because of one missed game, are you then willing/able to trade Adams when he misses one too?

One way to make the trade more valuable (in my view) would be to bring in someone durable who has already had their bye. Maybe like a Titch, Cripps or Merrett. As it stands you're kind of sidewaysing and using a trade to do so (unless you strongly prefer Adams to Viney).

Was there any info on whether Gawn was just one game, or multiple games out?
Just stated out for round11, no more info than that. Played out the game is a good sign, given other players with this type of injury missed 2-3 weeks, must be on minor side.

Tobe Watson - Stephen Hill to return round 11 - Watson or Cox likely to go. Previously Cox was ahead of Watson. Challenge is Freo have plenty of mid size defenders. given price point stops met getting Shuey, I will forgo Tobe Watson.

Need a defender between Sholl and Roscoe. Particularly if more to Ridley issue - although apparently Woosha said it was just a knock.

Sholl - macpherson rested and smith was late out for injury, however Sholl was listed on wing and heat map suggested that was the case.

Roscoe - injuries to WHE, Treloar and Quaynor. Mayne likely back, maybe Broomhead in for WHE, only 7 possessions, kicked 1.3, surely last a few games. seems to be the view he gets a few chances. anyone else injured who may take his spot in next 3 weeks? don't like fwds, although, Adelaide, Melb and North means he is fixture friendly.

late rush to reverse trades based on the Gawn news.
Gawn, Bennell & Sturt to Balta, Cripps & JJK.
Then realised that big Max had the C on him so went back to change it off of Balta but the game had already started.

Hamill to Schoenberg and Pickett to Mitchell.

I’ll probably go Cameron to Sholl or Watson for my last trade, won’t have reception the next couple of days to find out whether Cameron gets back in and I’m stuck with Lukosius at d7 if I can’t move him into the forward line.

Gawn > Big O
Jelly > Neale
Simpson > Titch

Super tempted by this. Jelly slingshot seems good given he’s only delivered one really good game. A lot of scores in and around 100 flat most weeks.

Good point - I do want to get Adams in this round somehow but Gawn and Viney being out has thrown any plans I might have had into disarray.

I'm also concerned with Titch's upcoming schedule with midfielders on losing teams tending to be starved of those juicy in-game and end-game scaling points but I might just be second-guessing on him there?

At this stage im considering:
Gawn > T. Mitchell (DPP magic)
King > Simpkin
Anderson > Shuey

66K left over. BBL style approach but Gawn is a must trade IMO with the 240BE and unlimited trades (essentially).

Did something similar, reversed trades just before the game started which locked Dusty in as VC. Nowhere near as bad, but still annoying.

Think I will hold Gawn. I have the E on Draper and this is a best of 18 round. If he misses next round as well I will trade him.
