i dont know how old you are but i can guarantee next season if you take on the advice you will finish top 20000

my first season i was 13yrs old, i ended up coming 100000 and had no idea what was happening

next season (14yrs old) after being on this forum ended up coming 10000 significantly better

last season when i was 15yrs old i ended up coming 354th overall, was 14th overall at one stage

so clearly improving significantly in the space of one to 2 seasons is possible, im sure next season if you take on advice you will do well
Wow, that's definitely an example of how great this site is. i started this season was about top 80% until round 4/5 when i found this site and now im top 40% at 80,000. my last round score was top 15% and hopefully that's not the last time i saw that position. recently ive found ive been checking this forum at least once a day, to see if im missing out on the latest news. I can guarantee ill be more invested in supercoach and this site next season.

I wish getting older was a guaranteed way to improve in this game, as I'd be doing much better by now. Had years of practice and that hasn't helped, might need to try out this advice option you mentioned... :p

(Selecting a proper starting side, not just putting together a side with a bunch of mid pricers as you expected 1-2 rounds this season is a start).

Well, I have been playing SC since before some here were born (2007 I think I started), still hasn't helped me. Not quite eligible for Old Farts, but not too far off it. Well done on your ranking so far.

Always love your attention to the early sources. Probably won’t hear from twitter for another hour.
Cheers mate, try and pass on any information when I see, hear or read it.

Its interesting Crows and Port generally release their teams to the media early each round but don't post it on their website until the official time.

There must be some agreement with betting agencies that they can only post after the deadline for official team lists given by the AFL. Makes sense for a legal point of view but a nightmare for us as SC’ers.

Team submission to the AFL deadline is 5:45pm and Team announcements at 6:20pm. The media contract with Channel 7 means they get first dibs at announcing teams, and hence the 6:20pm time to fit in their news.
