Reckon I'm going to bench one of the Smiths - Baz or Dev, for Bell's 82.

Is Cameron going to outscore either of those two?

Means I've got to swing Close forward before the Cats game and bench one of the Smith family.

Reps for opinions... oh, what?
I would probably roll the dice on both. If you are not prepared to back them to beat 82 then I would be trading them out.

If I was to forced to choose to pick one based on expectation of output I would probably bench Dev (note I own both).

However in a genuine 50/50 I would generally bench the one to play last so you minimise the risk of a late out giving you a doughnut.

It's one of Baz, Dev and Cameron to bench.

If I swing Baz or Dev into mids, it actually gives me cover if Schoenberg doesn't play.

Are they forfeiting Round 17 ?
From ABC website. Hooking up Rd 13 game with the next set of fixtures.

"While the Eagles have been racking up the wins and the acclaim at home, coach Adam Simpson has always been quick to warn that the other fixturing shoe was going to drop at some stage. He wasn't joking.
After their final home game in round 13 against GWS, the Eagles have just four days to up and move back to the Gold Coast for a Thursday-night game against Richmond.

The Eagles knew their fixture squeeze was coming, and it certainly has arrived.(AAP: Darren England)
Then there's Essendon off a five-day break, the Bulldogs off a five-day break and St Kilda off another four-day break. That's five games in 18 days for West Coast, a significant test after a comfortable stretch at home.
There's a chance then that the Giants game will be the last the Eagles play in WA for the season, depending on how finals are to be scheduled and where the grand final is sent.
All of the Eagles' Queensland games are night matches too, something that will become a factor if they struggle to handle the slippery conditions as they did in their first stint. In short, if the Eagles are to go all the way this year, they certainly will have earned it."

Probably the other 17 clubs have had compressed fixtures as well , think Geelong is 4 or 5 in 19 days.

Not just the Eagles.

Port have been in a hub and travelling since , just accepting it and getting on with business.

Brisbane are actually playing in Cairns in Round 17 btw

He means between West Coast's Round 13 game on the Sunday of that round and West Coast's Round 17 game... that is 5 games in 18 days.

Where did you get a Round 17 forfeit from?
Thought Brisbane were forfeiting the game in Cairns.

All clubs have experienced a fixture cram not just the Eagles , they are not treated differently.

I am struggling to do something similar or Bytel. Depends if McHenry or Schoenberg are named in my case.

Ahh I get you, I didn’t know if you meant WCE or BRI forfeiting a game.

Brisbane do indeed travel to Cairns. They have no doubt been gifted an incredibly easy run to the GF though with nearly every game of their’s in QLD.
