If you are yet to trade I would seriously consider moving on Butler before B Smith. Butler is projected to be 350k in two rounds off the back of his 20 last round. He has been a sensational pickup for the saints, but is far too inconsistent to be a forward you want to hold.

Thanks for the tip , I actually was too busy looking backwards and not seeing how much money they are likely to lose going forward.

With the fixture released I hope to "slingshot" which ever one I keep when they have their bye.

Footywire has Butler losing approx $ 30k more than Smith over the next 2 rounds.

Now I need to see if I still can get Adams & Nic Nat by Butler & Ceglar and hope Smith improves.

Interestingly Smith has scored 961 points this season to Butler's 919.

Has recently moved into the backline and is seeing a lot of uncontested ball. As we have put the cue on the rack for 2020, I hope he continues this offensive role rather than assigned the lockdown duties

Bit concerned by the people that are potentially considering overlooking a 130-150 score from Neale in favour of Macrae vs Adelaide.

Adelaide have certainly given away a lot of 130+ score but just 5x 150+ scores all season from the quick look I did then.

Take this path at your own risk knowing Bont and Dunkley could take away the opportunity for Macrae to go big, and we’ve already seen Laird go massive in a decent loss last week with his new role. There’s enough factors there to ensure that I wouldn’t be taking the risk.

I would definitely do those trades if $$ allows. Otherwise without compromising your team, I would look at either Gaff, Cripps or Shuey as an alternative to Adams as they have all had their bye and each present some form of value.

Another point for Smith is that he is practically averaging 96 from 10 (rather than 87 from 11) after being concussed in the opening minutes against North. Here's hoping he can score well against Adelaide!

No no no 😀 Adams is definitely coming in to complete my midfield.

I have had Cripps from the start , brought in Shuey last round.

Completely forgot about Smith's concussion score as well after bringing him in.

Last 5 = 82.6
Last 3 = 77.3

is my biggest concern with Smith , so see what he can do tomorrow

SC is becoming a 24/7 job.

Just need to get through this round and next unscathed then work out the best slingshot options and how to get them.

Extra trades is all well and good but I need extra money.
