The Giants are likely to remain without forward
Tom Lynch for their Qualifying Final against Creme De La Creme, with the 29 year-old another week away from a return from his minor hamstring injury. The selection committee will have flirted with the idea of possibly risking dashing defender
Wayne Milera, but he now appears to be more a proposition should The Giants go deep into the finals series. Youngster
Will Hamill, who has had two concussions this season, may be back in the selection picture should
Riley Bonner's place come into question, with
Lachlan Sholl also pressing his case for a spot in the back six.
Harrison Himmelberg responded well to his axing last week, and will certainly be considered should Goodman look to swing any of
Lachie Whitfield,
Bailey Smith or
James Rowbottom into the midfield. Youngster
Noah Anderson would be the player most likely to make way despite his outstanding debut season, with
Jack Graham having been exceptional since his return to the senior side. Young midfielder
Thomson Dow has impressed in match simulation and will be ready should he be required in the senior side, or more likely as an emergency.
Verdict: Unchanged. Hard to see The Giants looking to make any unnecessary changes given the sides recent form.
