Afghanistan has asked for their Test to be pushed back to Dec 7-11.

Haven't seen anything about the dates for the Indian tests being changed.

The 2 Tests v Sri Lanka have been rescheduled for January so suspect they will just go to India (or UAE) after that series is finished

Might see a lot of them out here for the BBL (Banton and Curran are the only 2 OS players with contracts at the moment).

Think people tried to complicate Big Billy , lust let him run in and bowl fast.

Some pretty ordinary numbers in there, and not much Test experience either.

Very reliant on Stokes and hoping Root returns to form.

And whether they actually play 5 specialist bats + Stokes + Buttler.

Schedule has them going to Sri Lanka and then India.

Be interesting to see if they all still remain for the Ashes.

WBBL06 moved to Sydney.

Apparently CA is going to release revised fixtures next for the summer , apparently FoxSpoets want the Indian white ball matches to start the summer.

Not sure if they would all come from the IPL , ISO for 14 days then start the Internationals.

Surely BBL is a very “hub friendly” sport, Christmas aside.

Wouldn’t be surprised to see a bunch of teams all based outside VIC.

Re: England batting, you’re right that Root is the key. It’s been a big few years of change but if you have Root in form you can build around him. Crawley and Butler’s performance in the last test was promising for me.

I don’t get to watch and county cricket any more so couldn’t talk much to alternatives.

Talk of the Shield starting in a Adelaide hub.

Broadcasters are worried BBL might be "glorified" grade cricket if 20-25 of the Internationals are in a bio-security bubble for the Tests and ODI's plus doubts over any OS players at all.

Surely they hub in Queensland with the Gabba , AB Field , Metricon (if it still has grass by then) , Cairns & Townsville.

Just move it to the UAE after the IPL , at least then the Australian's , Indians and the higher quality OS players can participate.

This is my hometown’s cricket festival. My favourite memory is watching Courtney Walsh’s testimonial match. Devon Malcom bowls Brian Lara for a golden duck... umpire calls a no ball. It was never a no ball.
