Had a complete shocker this week with only 362 points. That is not even half of what I got last week.

I'm probably last in the SCS Group now.

Well I improved my overall ranking this week and have got up to 323.
Just wish I had Maxwell skipper instead of Wright, anyway atleast Wright got a few more than Finch.
Scored 526 which included a donut and only 9 from White, a low score from Finch and Maddison as well with Katich's 49 on the bench.

I got 490 with Hales C, and Kieswetter on the bench!
Should've had 505, but Hogg never got his runout... lol.

Christian and Maxwell pretty made up my whole score lol

I'm going to go Maddinson, Malinga IN, Pomersbach, Bollinger OUT

My team's looking pretty ok.

Alex Doolan added to the Australian Test squad for the final test.

One change made to Australia's Test squad for Sydney

Tasmanian batsman Alex Doolan is within reach of his first Baggy Green cap after being added to Australia’s squad for the final Ashes Test as cover for all-rounder Shane Watson who remains under an injury cloud.

Watson received ongoing treatment for groin soreness during the fourth Commonwealth Bank Ashes Test in Melbourne even though he was able to bowl short spells in both innings and contributed a match-winning 83no on the final day.

But he was clearly hindered by the injury that forced him from the field on day one, and Doolan has been named in the revised 14-man squad released by the national selection panel this morning.

While a final decision on his fitness won’t be made until closer to the Test that begins at the Sydney Cricket Ground in Friday, Watson was hopeful of taking the field as Australia chases a five-nil whitewash when he spoke to Channel Nine immediately after he hit the winning runs at the MCG yesterday.

“I’m extremely lucky to have some great medical staff to be looking after me to give me the chance to be able to get out and contribute like I did after our first innings of bowling,” Watson said.

“Doc Brukner (Peter Brukner) his needling and Alex Kountouris and all the work that they’ve done over the last three days has given me a chance (to play in Sydney).”

Doubts also continue to surround the fitness of fast bowler Ryan Harris as he battles a chronic knee injury, with all-rounder James Faulkner expected to fill his role should he be ruled out of the New Year Test at the SCG.

Fast bowler Doug Bollinger, who along with fellow quick Nathan Coulter-Nile was added to the Test squad during the series as back-up for the incumbent quicks, has been released from the squad to continue his Big Bash League commitments with the Hobart Hurricanes.

Coulter-Nile remains in the 14-man Test squad.

Doolan was considered to be Australia’s number-three batsman in waiting after he scored an impressive, unbeaten 161 for Australia A last summer against a touring South African team that included top-ranked fast bowlers Dale Steyn and Vernon Philander.

The 28-year-old finished last season as the fourth-highest runs scorer in the Bupa Sheffield Shield, and scored a century for Tasmania in the reigning Shield holders’ first match of the season against New South Wales in October.

“With some players still being assessed by our medical team after four demanding Tests, we have decided to add Alex to ensure we have sufficient cover in our batting line-up should it be required,” head of the selection panel, John Inverarity, said today.

“Alex is a talented player who came under strong consideration for selection ahead of the Ashes series after a string of solid performances in four day cricket for Tasmania at the start of this season, but also after an excellent finish to last season and we feel those performances warrant his inclusion in the squad of 14 for Sydney.

“Doug, who has been bowling impressively this season, has been released to play Big Bash League as the NSP feels there is sufficient cover with James Faulkner and Nathan Coulter-Nile also in the squad.”

Ouch mate thats a rough week for you.

For anyone with James Hopes, he has been ruled out of the match tonight against the Renegades.

Doolan has been included in the test squad! Surely he will still play tonight?!?!
Thank god for you two otherwise i would've been close to closing my account.

Just traded Doolan in and wasn't going to trade Hopes out but that changes everything.

EDIT: just read GG's post on Doolan.

Double edit: Is it possible he won't play the second game though noting it is a DGW for the Renegades.

Ahh, nothing like quoting your own post lol

Looks like the 5th test starts on the 3rd and the Renegades play again on the 1st.

Wrong bunlit - That honour of being last in the SCS group belongs to me.
Ha Ha, stupid game. Had 4 donuts last week because of the wash out game then things got worse this week.
Didn't know the renegades played the first game and had the capt on Finch, then one of my bowlers ( Beer ) didn't get to bat ........or BOWL. Big score of zero for Beer, give me a break !!!
To top it off most of my bench players scored better than my playing 11.

On the bright side, theres only one way for me to go now, have to beat IDIG, ha ha.

Trades made.

Out: Hodge, Hopes
In: Cooper, MMarsh +65k

Resisted getting Christian instead of Marsh because of the difference in price. I already know how that will turn out :D

Anyone's league a shot at the money? Div 3 is 281 out of 5487 so we're no chance.

Hahaha it's a bit like that. Was feeling pretty good about things last week but after watching every popular player I didn't have ton up, while my unique-ish equivalents spud it up, i knew i'd be bringing up the rear this week lol

LOL alright, thought you'd like that one, we may have to have a stubby on it IDIG.

OUT - Botha, can play but no good when he comes in at number 7.
IN - M Marsh.

OUT - Beer, no point in having a bowler worth 75.8k and doesn't get to bowl an over.
IN - Rimmington.

Watch these trades back fire on me, all in good fun though.

Yep couldn't believe Beer didn't get a trundle the other night, Hogg bowled fairly well and you would have thought that the other spinner in there side would have at least been given an over.

I so badly want Mitch Marsh but with Maxwell firing, Wright opening the batting and Henriques going to make cash for me I don't think I can/need to get him. My only concern is that I believe Wright didn't field last night so will had to watch that one closely as he had back spasms or something.

Clive Rose out to a cheap bowler for cash is my only definite trade. Could also be forced to trade Coulter-Nile as he is still with the test team to possibly avoid a donut.
