Burns out for 0 this am, under massive pressure now.
And from memory I am sure they said last season that Burns has a horrible pink ball record as well.

Interesting to see what Pucovski dies in their next Shield game and surely makes the Australia A side

No idea in terms of first class, I'm going to guess zero. But could maybe be once or twice I guess. Not sure, but suspect zero.

He has opened numerous times for his club side Melbourne in Premier Cricket before, and the year where he made bulk runs at the Under 19 Championships he opened (50 over games), so it's not entirely foreign to him.

EDIT: Just saw your comment above confirming it was the first time.
Cheers mate , thanks for the response.

Just hope everything works out for him.

Thought I would have a go at being a selector , working on Hohn's comments of a squad of 18.

Warner , Burns , Labuschagne , Smith , Head , Wade , Paine (C) , Cummins , Starc , Hazlewood , Lyon

Back up opener /# 3 = Pucovski/Khawaja
Middle Order = Green
Batting All Rounder = Stoinis
Bowling All Rounder = Agar
Pace Backup = Neser , Pattinson

Don't think they need a backup keeper with Wade their , possibly a 3rd quick (don't think Jyhe Richardson is 100% fit so possibly a opportunity to get Meredith involved) and/or maybe Swepson

Good to see so many batsman scoring well - starting to make me wonder about the pitches though?

Queensland might beg to differ after Copeland's spell yesterday

5/7 off 15 overs including 12 maidens

60 (or 66) consecutive dot balls at some stage as well
Wow, that’s massive. Looks like that’s the lower scoring match so far, although Labuschagne scored well. Lots of starts, actually.

England have named two 15-man squads and three reserve players for their limited over series in South Africa later this month. The T20I party is at full-strength as England look to prepare for next year's T20 World Cup in India while Jofra Archer, Ben Stokes and Sam Curran will be rested for the ODI matches which follow.

The selectors have named 23 players in all with 10 of them appearing in both squads. Archer, Stokes and Sam Curran, Chris Jordan and Dawid Malan have only been selected in the T20I squad while Joe Root, Chris Woakes, Olly Stone, Lewis Gregory and Liam Livingstone have just been included in the 50-over squad. Despite a hectic workload, including a stint in the IPL with Rajasthan Royals, Jos Buttler has been selected in both squads.

Reece Topley, who returned to England duty for the first time in four years during the 50-over series against Ireland in July, has been included in both parties. His fellow left-armer, David Willey, who impressed against the Irish with a man of the series display, has not been included due to injury. Mark Wood, who endured a frustrating summer, has been selected for both the ODI and T20 series while Somerset batsman Tom Banton, who was part of all of England's limited overs squads during the summer, is only named as a reserve player this time.

Stone has been recalled to the ODI squad after a succession of injuries which have kept him out of the international reckoning since last summer's solitary Test against Ireland. Jake Ball, who has not played for England since July 2018, has also been included as one of the three travelling reserves after an excellent campaign in the T20 Blast which yielded 19 wickets in ten matches. Tom Helm, the young Middlesex quick, is also in the reserve list and is the only uncapped player included.

There is no place in either squad for Kent batsman Joe Denly, who played in the T20I series against Australia at the end of the home season, with Livingstone preferred in the ODI squad and Denly's Kent teammate Sam Billings chosen for the T20 series. Lancashire quick Saqib Mahmood, who played three ODIs and three T20Is during the summer, has also been left out while there is only space for two frontline spinners in Moeen Ali and Adil Rashid. Lancashire's young leg-spinner, Matt Parkinson, has not been included.

The squad will leave England on November 16 for Cape Town. They will play one 50-over intra-squad practice match and two T20s in preparation for the two series which will be played behind closed doors and begin on November 27 with the first T20I at Newlands. The second and third matches will be played on November 29 and December 1 before the ODI series begins three days later and concludes with matches on December 4 and 9.

England Men's IT20 Squad:Eoin Morgan (captain), Moeen Ali, Jofra Archer, Jonathan Bairstow, Sam Billings, Jos Buttler, Sam Curran, Tom Curran, Chris Jordan, Dawid Malan, Adil Rashid, Jason Roy, Ben Stokes, Reece Topley, Mark Wood

England Men's ODI Squad:Eoin Morgan(captain), Moeen Ali, Jonathan Bairstow, Sam Billings, Jos Buttler, Tom Curran, Lewis Gregory, Liam Livingstone, Adil Rashid, Joe Root, Jason Roy, Olly Stone, Reece Topley, Chris Woakes, Mark Wood

Reserves across both formats:Jake Ball, Tom Banton, Tom Helm
