I have Bopara VC, is it worth going Maxwell C?
I always get these wrong hahah
One thing I got dead right was Christian to Henriques! Instant success haha, but a bit of a no-brainer tbh :p

Also Hales v Katich, Katich batting really well atm, and he's versing the Thunder at the Furnace!
Same here with Bopara vc. An almost night for him with a dropped catch and only 2 over bowled. Had he taken that catch and bowled another over, we'd be in a much better position to lock his score in. Now i have no idea what i'll do.

Lumb's innings was one of the worst I have actually seen him play. Obviously I don't see him a hell of a lot but tonight he just was swinging across the line and playing some awful looking shots, although having said that he top scored comfortably for the Sixers with 50 odd.
One of the few times I have wanted a batsman to get out in a game where I wasn't supporting a team! The whole game everyone seemed to be swiping across the line and going nowhere. Every time someone played a decent cricket shot it went to the rope :)

BTW someone tell the Heat to bat Ben Cutting at number 4 or 5, he is such a good striker of the ball that he is wasted batting so low!!!
Agreed, cost them the game last night! Should definitely have come in before Sabburg and Hopes.

I'm not sold on loopholing VC scores when there is a double. How do you decide on an alternative C if you haven't had both games from your double player?

The other worry I had with carrying a donut was if someone pulled out and my loophole donut turned into a real donut given I had used both trades before the first game.

Have Maddison as vice captain, but the question is do you go:

Maddison (+9) v S.Marsh v D. Hussey v Mr. Cricket as captain....

I think the loophole helps if your vice has a -20, but otherwise make it's hard as even though Maddinson scored 9, he has a 9 headstart on my captain, if I don't keep Maddinson's score.

With Kieswetter's 50 score, I don't want Buttler to play...LOL
Yeah i am thinking about who i should put the C on, not happy with Maddison's score and will back in someone else to out do him.
Shaun Marsh, Maxwell, and Hales (who i might bring in) would be my best options I reckon.

Just looked at who I am playing and have seen that he has the C on Maddison and VC on Henriques.
He has about a 70 point lead on me atm with Hazelwood also getting another game at it as the POD. Could be difficult for me to catch up if a few of my guns don't fire.

Alastair Cook wins the toss, finally, and has elected to bowl first !

Australia XI - David Warner, Chris Rogers, Shane Watson, Michael Clarke, Steve Smith, George Bailey, Brad Haddin, Mitchell Johnson, Ryan Harris, Peter Siddle, Nathan Lyon.

Australia is unchanged for the fifth Test in a row ! For the first time in our history, we will only use eleven players across a five match series !

England XI - Alastair Cook, Michael Carberry, Ian Bell, Kevin Pietersen, Gary Ballance, Ben Stokes, Jonny Bairstow, Scott Borthwick, Stuart Broad, Boyd Rankin, James Anderson.

Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes. England has three debutants for the fifth and final Ashes Test. Gary Ballance, Boyd Rankin and Scott Borthwick are all in, Joe Root, Tim Bresnan and Monty Panesar are all out.

Yeah i noticed you went the C on Henriques without loopholing. At the moment im using Copeland I think so if he's a late call up, i'm stuffed!

Massive call to debut 3 players when you're facing a 5-0 sweep.

We're currently 2/74 with the two openers gone.

Not sure if George Bailey will get a plane ticket to South Africa in February. He was out for 1.

AUS 5/108. Anderson bowling well.

Not looking good for him at all. Surprised they didn't give Faulkner the nod.

Haddin to the rescue... Again... Hopefully anyway...

Oh I've got this all wrong. Copeland is locked out and I've just missed my other donut player so have to choose a skipper now. Doh!

Leaning Finch I guess.

Absolutely killing it. 75 from 40 and relatively cheap from memory.

I'd need a random late out from Finch, Hales to get his score hahah.
Oh well, at least he makes a LOT of money
